Here at SW we love hearing about ways for our brides to save a little money here and there.  That might be why we were so happy to learn about {PreOwnedWeddingDresses.Com}.  It is just like what it sounds like.  However, don’t think Goodwill style but more like all your bridal friends hanging out in one closet (Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, J. Crew, Anne Barge, Rivini, Lazaro, Judd Waddell, etc.) or website for that matter.  I suggest you check it out for yourself.  There are more than 15,000 gowns for sale and a search engine that allows you to search for say all the dresses in one size, neckline or a particular designer. PreOwnedWeddingDresses.Com is also great for our recent brides looking to sell their dress.  The site allows for unlimited text and protects agains giving out an email address.  Also, the site doesn’t make a commission off of the money made on a dress sale but only requires a $25 listing fee for dresses.

Josie Daga, the owner of PreOwenedWeddingDresses.Com wants to give 5 free listings to 5 recent brides to sell their fabulous wedding dresses.  Interested?  Wedding dresses on PreOwnedWeddingDresses.Com are three times more likely to sell faster then those listed on ebay or local newspapers.

Here’s the deal:  We want to know how you felt in your wedding dress on your big day.  Why was that dress so special for you? And what do you hope the next bride will experience in the dress?  Leave a comment on this post by Midnight on Wednesday, Decemeber 3rd!  Best of luck!

I felt like a million bucks in my dress! People say "you’ll just know" when you try on THE dress, and I just knew. I had dragged along my mom and sisters to bridal salon after bridal salon, and finally I decided to just go by myself, because I felt bad dragging everyone all over. That is, of course, when I found my dress. I hope the next bride feels all of the magic and excitement I felt on my own big day. I could have wed in blue jeans, and it would have felt just as spectacular, but now I get to drool over my dress in wedding pictures forever!

I am actually not entering this contest, but I wanted to give a shout out to preownedweddingdresses.com because I sold my wedding dress through this site!!!!!!! This site is AMAZING!!!! I sold my Melissa Sweet dress for full list price in a little under 2 months. The site is easy to use and allows you to really get your dress out there! I HIGHLY recommend using this site if you are interested in selling your dress :)

I felt so amazing in my wedding dress…special, beautiful, important, loved. The dress was simple and perfect. A lot of my friends have sold their gowns and I think it make sense. Why keep that giant box in your house for years? I don’t know ANYONE who wore their mom’s dress. I am going to sell my dress and I hope the next woman who wears it has her own beautiful day in it.

I’m sitting here "typing" this on my iPhone which itself might justify how much I loved my dress! My dress was everything I loved, needed and searched for. It was such a lovely complimenting shade of pale cream, had the manditory modern fit, yet was shrouded with vintage lace circa Audry Hepburn. It was more than I could have ever asked for. I loved it so much that for one of my promotional shoots for a popular hotel, I asked the model to use MY dress that I preserved away months before. Thankfully it was a perfect fit! So, now that I have plenty of wonderful memories with "her". I feel it’s time she needs to go to another fashionable bride who will love her as much as I did, and can have that same movie-star feeling as well.

When my wedding day finally arrived and it was at last time for me to put on my wedding dress, I felt like the most elegant bride in the world. I have never felt so beautiful in my whole life. Your wedding is such an exciting, glorious day, one that you have waited for your entire life, and I am so glad that I found the most perfect dress that made me feel like I was on cloud nine. When I walked down the isle towards my wonderful groom, I felt as though I was shining and I thought my face would burst from being so happy! My dress was very special for me because I wanted to find a wedding dress that matched my personality and style, and one that I felt myself in. The dress I found was perfect. It was elegant, fashionable, and stunning. I am glad that I can look back at wedding pictures and always love how my dress looked. I hope the next bride who wears my dress feels just as beautiful and special as I did!
