Google+ Wanwisa Wednesday: Vintage Whimsy - Southern Weddings

Southern Weddings

Welcome back to Part V of Wanwisa Wednesday! Guest blogger, Wanwisa Poser, from {Bliss NY} and the fabulous blog {Modern Vintage} has created a stunning post for you today. Be sure to check out Part I, II and III, and IV.

I love vintage details for weddings especially ones that are very personal touches like using a cake cutting set from your grandparent’s wedding or pinning a family heirloom brooch to the satin bound stems of your bouquet. If you don’t have the luxury of having these items for your wedding, throwing in some vintage looking details can still give your event that special personal touch.

Vintage style is not always for everyone. Some people think of vintage style and picture stuffy and delicate antiques that can give a wedding a super formal feel. But, vintage style can also be really fun and casual. Recently, I’ve been lucky enough to get to know two brilliant photographers, Vania and Christine, and fell in love with their gorgeous work. The two gals, photographers and owners of Simply Bloom Photography, produce stunningly beautiful wedding and engagement photos that have a very distinct vintage feel that is, sometimes quirky, and always divine. I’ve put together a board inspired by four fabulous photos from Simply Bloom Photography that shows how you can make your vintage wedding whimsical and flirty. Enjoy!

I had the pleasure in photographing Christine’s Wedding, she has amazing talent and I was so priviledged to have been chosen to capture it.
