Be sure to check out Wanwisa’s first two posts HERE and HERE.

My third board is inspired by, well, the groom, actually. Justin is a teacher in New York City and is passionate about woodwork. With that in mine, and Michelle and Justin’s first venue option, Woodlands resort, I put together a country chic look that combines modern and vintage touches.

Chalkboard details add personal warmth to a buffet table as well as adorable picnic style favor baskets. Loose-leaf and graph paper inspired dishes from Fish’s Eddy add a kitschy flair and vintage flashcards from The Hope Jar will keep guests busy. Wood-veneer invitations by A2 Paperie lend a modern touch to keep the entire look elegant and clean.

Michelle and Justin can take the theme up a notch by naming tables after school subjects, providing transportation to their guests via yellow school buses and setting up a “yearbook” self-portrait photo station. With a school theme, there is an endless list of fun and creative details – if you love all things vintage think about using vintage lunch boxes and alphabet flash cards. If you lean more towards modern, use lots of shiny red apples in your design; it’s a cost effective way to amp up your centerpieces or escort card table design. ~Wanwisa

In honor of Wanwisa’s teacher inspired board, we have a featured charity that any teacher would love!  Have fun, build your vocabulary and help end world hunger all in one place! Visit {www.freerice.com} and play their vocabulary building word game.  Every time you get an answer correct, 20 grains of rice are donated through the UN World Food Program to those in need.  Thank you {Starry-Eyed Barefoot Bride} for directing us to such a unique charity.

I love this theme. Mmy hubby is a teacher, and this would be perfect for him, but I know he would never let me throw him a themed party.
