Simply Gorgeous Events is a full-service wedding planning, design, and floral design company! Our goal is to create a one-of-a-kind wedding for each of our couples and end your wedding night with a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We make the planning process as easy and fun as possible and take out all of the stress and anxiety for you two. We want you to relax and focus on marrying the love of your life!

Things you’d write home to your Momma about: Every day something exciting is happening, whether it’s completing a design mock-up our couple loves or booking the next SGE couple. The best, though is when a couple or family shares their gratitude with us at the end of a wedding day! We are so honored to be featured on some of my favorite blogs, including Wedding Chicks and The Perfect Palette, and I am still in shock at becoming a Blue Ribbon Vendor — when I told my mom, she was beyond thrilled and so proud!

How I got into weddings: I have always enjoyed design, whether it was interior design, fashion, or just pretty details. After my own wedding, I started the process of getting certified as a wedding planner, and Simply Gorgeous Events was created. My goal is to bring a high quality service to West Virginia brides and serve them well! Your wedding day is the start of your marriage, and I want you two to focus on that!
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? My favorite things about weddings in the South are the traditions, values, and the sweet hospitality for guests. I love when couples incorporate special family traditions into their wedding day along with the special events leading up to the big day!
Favorite part of a wedding day? There are so many! The moment right before I send the bride down the aisle is a favorite — the look on her face is everything!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Consider you two as a couple – what is most important to you that will make your wedding day uniquely yours? Remember this is YOUR day. It will fly by, so cherish every moment – your vendors are there so you and your families are able to enjoy this special day in your lives.
Dream travel destination? There are so many places I would love to travel to, but Ireland, Greece, and Paris would be amazing!
Favorite Southern city? Charleston, SC
Early bird or night owl? Night owl, but on wedding days I’m an early bird.
Favorite pie flavor? Chocolate!
Favorite biscuit topping? Love biscuits and gravy!
