How I got into weddings: A South Carolina native, I have been in the events industry since 2006 when I interned with Artisphere in Greenville, SC. After graduating with a degree in Fine Arts from Clemson University, I joined the development team at the Columbia Museum of Art, where I planned numerous black-tie affairs and donor parties. Coupled with a certification in Interior Decorating, Meagan Warren Weddings was launched in 2009. Today, I plan a limited number of exclusive weddings and events annually in the Southeast.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? We love a good party… so a few of my favorite things: the food, the drinks, the venues, the music, the shaggin’!
Favorite part of a wedding day? The ceremony – it’s the whole reason for the day – two people getting married and sharing their love for one another!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? At the end of the day, it’s all about the marriage and marrying one another. Don’t get stressed out over the small stuff… it’s just a wedding! Have fun and enjoy every second you can. It only happens once, so soak up each second.
