How I got into weddings: After graduating from the International Academy of Design and Merchandising, I began training with a couturier. My brother became engaged during that time, and his fiancee asked me to design her wedding gown. I was hooked! Designing that gown married my love of fashion and amazing fabrics with my timeless aesthetic and meticulous execution. Plus, being a part of such a meaningful moment in a person’s life felt (and still feels) so special.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The warmth and personality!
Favorite part of a wedding day? The moment a bride walks down the aisle always gives me goosebumps, as do the vows.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Savor every second.
