Things you’d write home to your Momma about: I am a native of North Carolina, having attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I started High Cotton in 2010 as a way to show my love for the South and the values and people of the South. My company, High Cotton, makes no secret of our mission to make all of our products in the South, supporting hundreds of jobs and doing our part to revive the Southern textile industry.

Favorite thing about weddings in the South? I love the small details about Southern weddings the most: strings of lights, fragrant Southern flowers, grandma’s recipes on the pie bar, a beau tie bar with colorful bow ties, and the delightfully warm and carefree atmosphere that Southern weddings exude.
Favorite part of a wedding day? My favorite part of the wedding day is listening to the vows and watching the newlyweds walk down the aisle after they are married and seeing their heavenly smiles.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Make sure to schedule regular dates with your spouse to keep things fresh and fun!
