How I got into weddings: I discovered my love for weddings and working one on one with brides and their families while working for an event planner. Throughout the next few years, my friends began getting engaged and I was lucky enough to get invited to join them on their wedding dress searches. I quickly realized there was a void in the wedding dress industry in the state of Mississippi, and that is when Elle James Bridal was born. We now carry an exclusive collection of designer wedding gowns and create an atmosphere and experience that every girl dreams of having when finding her wedding dress.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The heirlooms that are worked into every Southern wedding in their own unique way is my favorite thing, hands down. Even if the wedding is more modern in style, there is always a tradition or heirloom item that is present on the wedding day. I get giddy when a bride brings in an heirloom veil! I love getting to learn about who has worn the veil and where it originated.
Favorite part of a wedding day? There is nothing like the moment our brides appear at the end of the aisle, ready to meet their grooms at the altar with all of their loved ones surrounding them. We get chill bumps every time.. and maybe a few tears.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Before your wedding day, plan a time at some point of the day (right after the ceremony is ideal) when the both of you can enjoy a few moments of alone time to soak everything in!

Favorite Southern city? I have so many but Fairhope, AL is definitely at the top!
