Shrimp and grits or beef tenderloin?” Our only request is that you leave your worries at the door; trust us, we’ve seen it all. Leave it to Big Events to marry your hopes, inspirations, and Pinterest boards WITH your budget–it’s what we do best!

Where you call home: The South. We are Southern girls oozing with etiquette, grace, and a little sass.
Things you’d write home to your Momma about: We were recently voted “Best Wedding & Event Planner” in the 2013 Nashville Scene Reader’s Poll–a big time thank you to all of our much-appreciated fans! Also, since we don’t mind tooting our own horn, here’s a link to some of the love notes we’ve received from our wonderful clients.
Location/Coverage: Primarily Nashville area weddings and events, but we’ll go anywhere! (Italy… okay, sure!)
How I got into weddings: Over two decades ago, we began as a husband and wife team with a history of event production in the entertainment industry, a love of flowers, and a knack for cake design. The duo parlayed these artistic and organizational talents, combined with an immense amount of kindness, into a full-service décor design and event planning business.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? Southern brides appreciate tradition, but love to try new twists on old ideas.
Favorite part of a wedding day? Truthfully, the overflowing joy that we feel when the happy bride and groom drive off into the sunset, but we also love that fleetingly fast moment of sweetness as the two exchange their vows. It’s the spiritual calm before the revelry and excitement of the night’s celebration.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Remember that there is a tomorrow, and that your wedding day is simply the beginning of a wonderful life together. Enjoy the planning process, but don’t get overwhelmed by the details–at the end of the day, regardless of anything you planned or any detail you’ve chosen, you are married, and that in itself will be memorable!
Dream travel destination? Somewhere sunny with sand between our toes
Favorite Southern city? Nashville, of course!
Early bird or night owl? Early birds
Pie bar or red velvet cake? Cake, but make it chocolate!
Pottery Barn or Anthropologie? Anthropologie
Succulents or peonies? Peonies–they’ll never go out of style
