Since we had the most lovely spring weather last week, I thought these ingenious tulip boutonnieres would be the perfect Southern Spotting for today!

So simple and fresh, yet I’ve never seen this idea done before! A tulip boutonniere — would you try it?

That’s what our guys wore!!!! Tulips are my favorite & I could have cared less that I had to have them shipped in because our wedding was in October & they weren’t in season! (girls also carried white tulips…. I carried white & orange ones!)

Who’s ready for spring?! I sure am after seeing the bright pastels in Lindsey + Tyson’s Virginia wedding! If you missed their feature this morning, click here and here, then check below for tips on how to bring this style to your wedding!

A. The plentiful paper streamers backing Lindsey + Tyson’s bar are an easy and inexpensive look to replicate! We suggest searching for leaf, arcade, and pageant garlands at Bulk Party Supplies.

B. For a femme bridesmaid look, we love these two options from Modcloth: the one on the left is $58, and the one on the right is $90. Just a note of warning: in my experience, Modcloth dresses tend to be on the shorter side, so make sure you try them on before making any final decisions!

C. The best source I know for good quality, inexpensive ribbon is Paper Mart. Buy satin ribbons in a range of spring colors, then tie them onto chairs or tables for a fluttering-in-the-breeze effect.

D. If you can’t find Lindsey’s exact J. Crew shoes, add fabric blooms to yours for a similar look! We love these shoe clips from Emersonmade.

E. Since live gardenias wilt and brown so easily, consider one made out of clay from DK Designs. Diane couldn’t be nicer, and her blooms are beautiful in person!

F. Like last week, we recommend the mint julep cups from Save on Crafts if you can’t find them at your local flea market! (Or, of course, your grandmother’s china cabinet!)

G. Origin Crafts stocks lovely glass apothecary jars that are perfect for filling with fresh fruit for a bright pop of color.

H. Fruit! For those looking for a lush look without the high cost of fresh flowers, look no further than your local grocery store — peaches, limes, lemons, green apples, and grapes all work perfectly with this color scheme!

I. The price is fairly steep, but these gorgeous cake stands from Fishs Eddy are the perfect complement to a sweets bar. To help offset the cost, consider giving them as gifts after the wedding!

Keep your eyes peeled for another Get the Look feature next week! And what do you think — would you try this look at your wedding?
