As many of y’all know, Rosemary Beach is one my favorite places on the entire earth! It’s holds a very special place in my heart as it’s where BDK and I took our very first vacation together – it’s even where I’d hold my dream Southern summer wedding! So, of course, I am tickled pink to share Sarah + Nick’s sweet day. From the adorable rhymes on their chalkboard signs to their bridal party’s dance floor antics, it’s hard not smile while seeing the pure joy in the photos from Pure 7 Studios! I love weddings that look like they were a complete blast for all in attendance, and I’d venture to say that Sarah + Nick’s definitely has that look!

Opting out of the first look? Sending a sweet note to your beau is one of my favorite ways to share your excitement without seeing each other!

Tell us about finding your wedding dress. I actually found it on Pinterest of all places! Just searching around, Pinterest took me to the BHLDN website and miraculously, they have a store in Houston (only 2 in the country!). I went with one of my best friends on my lunch break because I really didn’t think it was going to be THE dress, but the second I stepped out of the dressing room and saw the look on her face, I knew I had found the one!

We decided not to do the first look. I really wanted the first moment that Nick saw me to be when I was walking towards him down the aisle. I did however, decide to do a first look with my dad which was really fun!

Grab a tissue y’all, Nick’s expression in the photo below is sure to having you reaching for your hanky!

Did you have something borrowed, blue, old, and new? If so, do tell! My something blue and old was a combination. My grandfather passed two months before the wedding and I had a piece of one of his blue shirts, as well as a piece of lace from my mom’s wedding dress, cut into a heart shape and sewn on the back of my dress. I guess my something new was just everything else!

I can’t help but imagine Nick said the sweetest/funniest thing to Sarah right before this photo, and her reaction is THE best!

Did you write your own vows? If so, what was your favorite phrase, verse or line? Yes. His vows to me were absolutely perfect. One line read, “I promise to watch Shark Week with you every year, even though it is the same episodes over and over.” Just hearing how he felt and knowing they were his words meant the world to me. He ended them with “I will always remind you that you is kind, you is smart, and you is important”.

Our favorite detail of the wedding was: Being surrounded by all of our family and friends. Seeing everyone out on the dance floor and having a wonderful time was priceless. And all of the lights set up under the tent were amazing!
What Southern details or traditions did you include in your celebration? What was Southern about your wedding? My husband’s family is from Louisiana, so we did a second line during the reception.

Describe your wedding flowers. The flowers were perfect! My bouquet and the centerpieces were a mix of tulips, roses, ranunculus and baby’s breath in light shades of pink and white, as well as greenery. The bridesmaids carried baby’s breath and lavender.
Describe your wedding cake or dessert. The wedding cake was white and off-white, four tiers, with little round balls all around it. It was exquisite and fun at the same time! The groom’s dessert was a delicious cheesecake with a New Orleans Saints emblem designed on it.

I love this Second Line — such a fun tribute to Nick’s hometown!

How did y’all meet? Tell us your love story. Nick and I actually knew each other in high school. We didn’t really hang out in the same group of friends, but we ended up in the same prom group during our senior year. After we graduated, I went to Texas A&M University and he went to the University of Texas, so we pretty much went our separate ways. Nick eventually moved to Reno for work and was home to visit family for Christmas 2010 when we ran into each other at a bar in our hometown. He asked for my number and ended up calling me that March. We had immediate chemistry and talked for hours that first night. He moved back home that August and the rest is history.
Tell us all about the proposal! Anyone that knows me knows that I love anything to do with the ocean, more specifically, sharks. I interned at The Aquarium of the Pacific after graduating college and I had always wanted to take a trip to visit Monterey Bay Aquarium. I have always had an obsession with that aquarium, but wasn’t ever able to make a trip to see it. Nick knew how much I would love to visit the aquarium, so he surprised me with a trip for my birthday. I was blown away that someone would fly across the country with me just to see an aquarium! I was so excited about the trip that a proposal was the last thing on my mind. After a day at the aquarium, followed by dinner at an amazing sushi restaurant (ironic, I know), we decided to explore our beautiful hotel, which was right on the beach. We walked down a stairway that led down to the ocean and just stood there with his arms around me talking about how amazing the trip had been. Then, he said “I think I know how I could possibly make this trip better” and I responded with a very ladylike “Huh?!” The next thing I knew, he was down on one knee. I honestly couldn’t tell you what else he said because I was just so blown away, excited, wanting to scream yes! Of course, I said yes and could not wait to start this next chapter in our lives
When did y’all get married? March 2, 2013
How many friends, family members, and loved ones attended your wedding? 85
Tell us about some of the songs you used throughout your wedding and why you chose them. For some reason, I had always wanted to walk down the aisle barefoot to the sounds of a steel drum, so that is exactly what I did. I wanted a beachy, but not cheesy, feel and all of my vendors succeeded in that without a doubt. Our first dance was “That’s What’s Up” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. They are one of our favorite bands and the words really spoke to us. This is a somewhat fast song, so we really improvised with our first dance by just kind of jumping around, singing and laughing to the music. The whole reception had perfect music from Van Morrison to a Skrillex to Jack Johnson. Our last song of the night was “Walking on a Dream” by Empire of the Sun. A perfect song to end a perfect night.
What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome while planning your wedding? How overwhelming it can all be! I had to remember to take it one day at a time and trust all of my amazing vendors.
If you are comfortable responding, what range did your wedding budget fall into? $25,000-$50,000
What is the one detail or vendor that you were so happy to have as a part of your wedding? Honestly, I can’t choose just one vendor I was the happiest with. They were all perfect!! If I had to choose one, it would have to be Jen (number 2) from It’s a Shore Thing, since they pointed us in the right direction to all of our vendors. Our wedding wouldn’t have been half as amazing if we didn’t have them!
What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day? Aside from Nick’s amazing wedding vows, I would say that the dancing and fun everyone had at the reception were the most memorable moments. I took a few moments to step back and just take everything in, and seeing all of these people that we love having a great time was worth everything.
What advice do you have for folks currently planning a wedding? Just relax! No matter what happens, if the weather isn’t what you wanted, if your bridesmaid dresses don’t turn out right, at the end of the day, you will be married to your best friend and that is all that matters!
What’s next for you as a couple? What are you most looking forward to about married life? We just moved to a new town home in Houston and we are looking forward to relaxing and enjoying married life!

I consider myself very fortunate to have been invited to the wedding of these two wonderful young people. I’m one of Nick’s uncles and I watched him grow up lo these many years. I’ve always hoped for the best for this fine young man, but I couldn’t have imagined how “best” his new bride would be! Sarah and Nick are a terrific couple, and the great wedding at Rosemary Beach was the perfect way for them to start their life together.

All the best, Sarah and Nick!

Yes, I am a full grown adult, and yes I still truly believe in fairytales! (That’s why I about died when a childhood friend of mine married the Little Mermaid — or, at least the girl who plays her at Disney World! True story, y’all!) So, when I started reading Caroline + Ben’s interview, you shouldn’t be surprised to hear that I was absolutely taken by their modern day Cinderella story. That might be a bit of a stretch, but our bride did lose a shoe and her groom did (kind of) find it! Either way, I love that Caroline described Ben as her “knight in shining armor.” Swoon!

I also love the gorgeous classic details and family traditions C + B weaved throughout their wedding, especially the gardenias inspired by the ones surrounding her childhood home. What a lovely sentiment (and scent!).

Y’all are going to love the second line photos captured by Meg Baisden — they make me want to join in!

Tell us about finding your wedding dress. This was a very difficult process. I tried on over 70 dresses and was even invited to Randy Fenoli’s new show, “Randy to the Rescue” in New Orleans. I thought I had found the right dress and even said yes to a dress on the show. However, after one last dress shopping excursion in Boston, I finally found the dress. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, and on the way home from trying it on, I got the omen of a lifetime. My sister and I were driving down Beacon Street when I happened to notice that there was an Omni Hotel, which was where we were having our wedding reception. As we were driving by I caught a glimpse of one their window displays. I did a double take and quickly told my sister to pull the car over! I got out of the car and ran to the window, and sure enough, my dress was on display in the Omni window! We couldn’t believe it.

I’d have to say that Caroline made the right decision with this gorgeous dress. Those ruffles all the way down her gown are absolutely amazing!

Yes, we did a first look and I absolutely loved it. It might have been my favorite part of the whole day. I loved that it was just he and I—no one else. We were able to talk and reflect privately about how it was finally here and actually happening. The whole weekend was so surreal and it was nice to have some alone time with my best friend. It was very comforting, and I was very grateful for it.

I love the subtle, but super sweet way Caroline is holding her dad’s hand instead of linking arms.

Our favorite detail of the wedding was: The second line! The second line walk from the wedding ceremony to the reception was extraordinary. Everything was perfect—the weather, the streets, the crowd, and of course, the music! It was truly an amazing experience and a very special memory that I will never forget!
What Southern details or traditions did you include in your celebration? What was Southern about your wedding? Oyster shells nameplates, Pimm’s Cup signature drinks for the second line walk (after the ceremony), cake pulls, and our welcome gift bags full of local goodies such as Zapps chips, saltwater taffy from Roman Candy guy, pralines, and a variety of other New Orleans items.

Describe your wedding cake or dessert. We picked out a beautiful all-white wedding cake decorated with our new initials, CJB, and fresh gardenias that were placed around and on top of the cake. I also had 8 “cake pulls” for by bridesmaids, which was a fun surprise for them. I personally picked out the charms for each of my bridesmaids, which offered a nice personal touch. They loved them!

Such a fun groom’s cake!

Ben and I danced to Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love.” We are both big fans of Van Morrison and felt that this song was a great classic that fit our relationship and the occasion perfectly. I danced with my father to Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World.” This has always been one of my parents’ favorite songs, as well as mine. The fact that it was by Louis Armstrong was like the cherry on top; it fit into the New Orleans theme perfectly!

How did y’all meet? Tell us your love story. We met in college (we both went to UGA) at a party that Ben and his roommates threw. Ben really caught my attention after handling a rather annoying situation by someone who had had far too much to drink. This girl, whom I had never met, thought it would be funny to throw my shoe out the window (I had taken them off while playing pool with Ben). She threw it down onto the busy and very popular Clayton Street. This would not have been that big of a deal had my shoe been found, but it wasn’t! Ben ended up having to lend me a pair of his flip-flops for the rest of the night while we hit the bars and it ended up being quite comical.. It turned out to be one of the best nights of my life, other than losing my favorite pair of shoes. The next day, Ben called to let me know that he had gotten a check from the girl to cover the cost of my shoes! I had not asked for or expected this gesture, so you can only imagine my excitement upon finding out that Ben had acted as my knight in shinning armor and I was going to get a brand new pair of shoes! This was in the fall of 2003 (yes—a very long time ago!). Ben and I hit it off pretty quickly after that, and after eight years of dating, Ben popped the question in New Orleans, Louisiana!
Tell us all about the proposal! Ben surprised me at one of my favorite New Orleans locations, The Columns Hotel. After he popped the question in a private room filled with candles and and rose petals, the surprise continued as we walked downstairs for dinner to find some of our closest friends and family shouting congrats and popping champagne! Ben even made sure my mother, who was living in Italy at the time, was there. I couldn’t believe it!
When did y’all get married? 12/22/12
How many friends, family members, and loved ones attended your wedding? 160
What readings, if any, did you have at your ceremony? Proverbs 3:1-6: “My child, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments; for length of days and years of life, and abundant welfare they will give you. Do not let loyalty and faithfulness forsake you; bind them round your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and of people. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:13-18: “Happy are those who find wisdom, and those who get understanding, for her income is better than silver, and her revenue better than gold. She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called happy.” These Old Testament scriptures make good wedding readings because a wedding is a transition between stages of life. It’s a time when our parents give us advice about what lies before us. Though a couple getting married aren’t children, it’s a good time to be reminded of the need to trust in the Lord
Describe your wedding flowers. Gardenias. I have loved the smell of gardenias for as long as I can remember. My mom had gardenias planted all around my childhood home and the smell has always triggered a sense of security and well-being for me. When Ben and I moved into our first home together (2009), the first things I planted were gardenia bushes. With all this being said, it is no surprise that my choice of flower was the gardenia. The groom and the groomsmen all wore gardenia boutonnieres, and everything else was accented with gardenias in some way or another. I even wore two fresh gardenias in my hair. They smelled amazing!
What is the one detail or vendor that you were so happy to have as a part of your wedding? My wedding planner, Michelle Adams, was phenomenal all around. We could not have done it without her.
What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day? Our first look and the second line were my two most memorable moments. Hands down.
What advice do you have for folks currently planning a wedding? Take it one day at a time and when things get really tough, just remember what it’s really all about: marrying your best friend and getting to spend the rest of your life with them. No one is going to care which way the napkins are folded or the fonts picked for the menu, so just step back and try to look at the bigger picture. Be grateful for the wonderful new chapter in your life that you are about to begin.

Whitney + Sam’s wedding is gorgeous, and classically Southern! Every detail makes me proud to be a Southerner, and I am all ready to take a trip to Nola! Especially since I’ve always wanted to be a part of a traditional Second Line!

But what makes this wedding special is truly the people. While reading their interview I laughed, teared up and decided I needed to become friends with Whitney! Her incredible insight about what’s important in not only a wedding, but a marriage touched my heart deeply. While sitting with some friends at 5 o’clock in the morning after celebrating they big day she thought: “this is the point. This time together, celebrating with and honoring the people who love you for the happiness they’ve brought into your lives — this is why you have a wedding reception.” Holy cow, y’all! I’m pretty sure that is the epitome of the Sweet Tea Society.

Big hugs to Mr. Graham Terhune for capturing the joy and love this wedding exuded! And very happy belated birthday wishes!

I actually found my dress online almost four years before our wedding. I was helping a recently engaged friend look for a dress and came across one that was everything I was looking for. I bookmarked it and filed it away for future reference. When we got engaged three years later, I knew that the dress would probably not be available, but I wanted to use it as a reference point to find something similar. When I asked the bridal consultant if they had anything similar, she told me they still had the original dress and on major sale since it was three years old. I was ecstatic!

Did you decide to do a “first look”? We did not do a first look, because one of the things I was most looking forward to during our ceremony was the look on Sam’s face as I came down the (very long) aisle. However, I did see Sam before the wedding. I love a man in a bowtie, so I slowly started convincing Sam to wear bowties after we started dating. He has, to this day, never learned how to tie one himself. It’s our tradition for me to tie them for him. After we were both dressed, we blindfolded Sam and led him over to the cottage where I was getting ready, and I tied his wedding day bowtie for him.

We had our programs printed on handkerchiefs so our guests would have the traditional white handkerchief to wave in the air as they danced in our Second Line!

What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day? As my bridesmaids and groomsladies were lining up to walk down the aisle, my flower girl Elizabeth and I lined up behind them. Just as I started to get nervous, Elizabeth turned to me and started telling me a story about a “really cool lizard” she had found that morning. It was the perfect distraction—it made me laugh so I didn’t lose it. Then, after the wedding party processional finished, right before Elizabeth walked down the aisle in front of me, she turned over her shoulder and said to me, “I bet he’s going to tell you that you look beautiful.” Then, I lost it.

Our favorite feature was the benediction, which my Maid of Honor found for us. It reads: “Go out into the world in peace. Have courage, hold onto that which is good, return no one evil for evil, strengthen the fainthearted, support the weak, help those who are suffering, honor all peoples and things, love and serve your living God.

Our recessional was a surprise entrance by our cocktail hour brass band. They led us and our guests in a Second Line parade from the ceremony to the cocktail hour behind the plantation house! Our first dance at the reception was “You Send Me” by Sam Cooke.

I have three guy friends who are such an incredible part of my life, and Sam has three girl friends that he feels the same way about. We knew from the beginning that we wanted those people to be standing on our sides rather than respecting the usual gender lines, so I had six bridesmaids and three “bridesmen”, and Sam had six groomsmen and three “groomsladies.

My mom raised me as a single parent from the time I was eight, so I decided I wanted the traditional father/daughter dance to be with her instead. As a surprise, I had the band learn “The Letter” by The Boxtops, the band that played at her high school prom. She was SO excited when she realized what they were playing while we were dancing!

How did the two of you meet? Tell us your story. Sam and I both went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and one of Sam’s best friend’s from high school ended up being a good friend and sorority sister of mine. One night at a party our senior year, Sam blurted out to me that we had actually been in the same freshman orientation group the summer before our freshman year — I had no idea! I thought it was pretty charming that he remembered briefly encountering me so long ago. We dating the fall after graduation. A year and a half later, Sam left North Carolina for the first time and moved to New Orleans with me so that I could attend grad school. That was when I knew he was the one.
Describe the proposal. Total perfection. Sam told me that we were going to a have drinks at this old fancy restaurant in the French Quarter called Tujague’s, which is just a few buildings down from Jackson Square, my favorite spot in the city. As we approached Tujague’s, Sam said we were actually early and suggested we take a stroll around Jackson Square before heading in. He led me over to a bench and started saying all these wonderful things to me about how much he loved me and how he wanted to spend his life with me. Sam is always so sweet and kind that I didn’t realize anything was out of the ordinary yet. Then, he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring, and I lost my mind. You know the Kristen Bell sloth video? That’s pretty much how I reacted. Despite my hysterics, he did pop the question and I did say yes. Then, Sam told me we actually were going to Tujague’s for a celebration dinner. I was thrilled to have such a perfect place to celebrate. The maitre d’ showed us to a small private dining room, where my mother, his mother, my best friend Logan, and my favorite Aunt and Uncle were there to surprise me and celebrate with us. It was everything I could have wanted.
In what month did you get married? June
How many guests attended your wedding? 260
Did you write your own vows? If so, what was your favorite phrase, verse or line? We did write our own vows. Sam grew up very active in his family’s church in Charlotte, and I didn’t grow up going to church at all, so we wanted to have a ceremony that would fit both of our backgrounds and our families. We started with a traditional protestant ceremony and changed most of the wording to fit our taste. We really wanted to focus on the ideals that we’re both committed to: loyalty, gratitude, and service to others.
Tell us about your wedding officiant. We were so, so lucky to have the amazing father of one of my bridesmaids officiate our wedding. He was so warm, supportive, and excited! It gave our wedding such a personal touch that he was able to speak about knowing both of us and my mother for many years.
What readings, if any, did you have at your ceremony? We used Song of Solomon Chapter 8, verses 6 and 7 and The Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.
Tell us about some of the songs you used throughout your wedding. We were so lucky to have our friends David and Cambey Mikush perform for our guests before the ceremony and for David to perform our ceremony music. His beautiful voice and acoustic guitar were perfect for our setting, and we chose nontraditional music that had great significance to us. For the seating of our mothers, David played “Here Comes the Sun” by The Beatles. Our wedding party processed to “Warm Love” by Van Morrison (my favorite musician) and I walked down the aisle to “Into the Mystic” (also by Van Morrison, and my favorite song).
Describe your wedding flowers: Our bridesmaids’ and groomsladies’ bouquets, as well as the reception centerpieces, were a mix of white tulips, purple and blue irises, and purple and blue hydrangea. My bouquet was white and blush peonies, and I asked our florist to use peonies that hadn’t yet opened all the way to create a more delicate, elegant look. We also had a giant magnolia blossom wreath on the front door of the plantation, right behind where our officiant was standing.
Describe your rings. My engagement ring was my grandmother’s. I was extremely close to my grandparents, so to know that I have the honor of wearing this beautiful symbol of love that my grandfather picked out for his bride makes me feel close to them even though they’re gone. Plus, wearing an engagement ring that symbolized a long and happy marriage is a constant inspiration to me. I didn’t change a thing about the ring’s design because I loved it just as it was — it was even the right size. Sam’s ring is his father’s wedding band. His father passed away when Sam was in college. To be able to have such meaningful memories attached to our rings makes them all the more special.
Describe your wedding cake or dessert: We had a traditional wedding cake with Bavarian cream filling and buttercream icing. We wanted it to be simple and delicious, and it was! My mother and I made our cake toppers. We took two hand-blown glass pelican Christmas ornaments, removed the hooks, and decorated them to look like a bride and groom. We saved the hooks so Sam and I can use them as Christmas ornaments on our tree. Sam’s groom’s cake was his absolute favorite flavor, Funfetti, with chocolate buttercream icing. We used the same cake topper that was used for Sam’s parents’ wedding cake.
What Southern details or traditions did you include in your celebration? What was Southern about your wedding? Pretty much everything. We served Planter’s Punch cocktails to guests as they arrived at the plantation to make sure they were cool and comfortable. Our venue, Houmas House Plantation and Gardens, is right on the Mississippi River in the heart of Louisiana. Between the plantation house, the live oaks filled with Spanish moss, and the plantation bell that rang to announce the start of the ceremony and my walk down the aisle, it’s pretty much as picturesque as it can be. The food was amazing, and featured (among other things) gumbo, seafood pasta, crab cakes, shrimp wrapped in bacon and deep-fried, and a grits bar. For our favors, in addition to custom koozies with a New Orleans street tile design, we had personalized Hubig’s pies. They’re deep fried fruit pies that are made in New Orleans and they’re such a strong memory from my childhood. In our invitation suite, we included a CD of all of our favorite New Orleans songs, which was a big hit with our guests. I had a monogrammed handkerchief wrapped around my bouquet, and my bridesman, Logan got me two Blue Dog pins to pin to the handkerchief (Blue Dog is a famous painting subject by my favorite artist, Louisianan George Rodrigue). We also had a traditional New Orleans Second Line parade to lead our guests from the ceremony to the cocktail hour, complete with a full brass band that entertained them during cocktails with New Orleans brass favorites.
What was the biggest challenge you had to overcome while planning your wedding? Since our friends and family are scattered across the world, we wanted to have time to talk and catch up with every single guest even though we had a big wedding. It truly is a once in a lifetime experience to have all of the people you love in your life together in one place. We rearranged our schedules, reprioritized, and got very little sleep, but we managed to spend solid time with almost all of our guests at some point over the weekend. We took people to our favorite local bar for dinner and drinks Thursday night, had a champagne toast reception for all of our guests after our rehearsal dinner Friday night, and we went out with our guests after the reception to continue the dance party and eat late night food until 5 o’clock in the morning. We were sitting at brunch with a group of our friends Sunday morning and I remember just looking around the table and thinking, “this is the point. This time together, celebrating with and honoring the people who love you for the happiness they’ve brought into your lives — this is why you have a wedding reception.”
What is the one thing you are most happy you splurged on? Music. Sam found our INCREDIBLE reception band, and they were one of the wedding details people could not stop talking about. They were such a pleasure to work with. They listened to every single one of our nitpicky requests for songs to play and songs not to play, and they were so unbelievably talented. People didn’t leave the dance floor all night and refused to go after the last song. My favorite quote of the night came from my good friend’s sister, who pulled me aside and said, “I mean this as a compliment, and I hope you take it that way, but I have never seen anything like your wedding reception dance floor outside of a Las Vegas nightclub.” I not only took it as a compliment, but knew that we had achieved our vision: a sincere, joyful ceremony; meaningful and personal details that truly reflected us as a couple throughout the day; and a ridiculous, sweaty dance party to cap off the celebration.
Best money spent on your wedding: Our wedding coordinator! Since we were engaged for so long (21 months) we did all of the planning ourselves, but wanted someone to be there on our wedding day to make sure things ran smoothly and to pack up everything after the end of the reception so none of our family members had to do it. Valerie was pretty much entirely responsible for our wedding being perfect down to the last detail.
What advice do you have for folks currently planning a wedding? Be true to yourself and what you want, and stop second guessing your own opinions. Remember that your wedding guests love you — they’re coming to celebrate, not to critique your taste in floral arrangements. Anything you do to make them feel comfortable and welcome will be so appreciated, and they’ll notice the details that you put love and effort into because they’re a reflection of you, not because they’re fancy or expensive. I hope for every bride to have as much fun planning (and attending!) their wedding as I did. It should an absolute joy and a true labor of love, and if it’s not making you happy, you’re doing it wrong.
What’s next for you as a couple? What are you looking forward to in the future? I got an offer for my dream job while we were on our honeymoon! I started work as soon as we got back, so for now, Sam and I are really just looking forward to some quiet evenings home along with our dog, recovering from this epic party.
