I LOVE (love love) that Ali + Matt had a theme without being too “theme-y.” Since Matt travels for work during the week, they wanted to bring a feeling of “house and home” to their whole celebration, and I think they did it in a really unique way — incorporating tea kettles and keys into their decor, hanging fabric wreaths on the door, placing family photos on the mantle, and giving each guest a napkin hand-embroidered by Ali’s Mom (yes, all 100!!). Ali herself pitched in with the paper goods — all self-designed, and printed by Mirabel Press. The Frogtown Winery was truly transformed into a home away from home, from the looks of it. The mini cake came courtesy of a dear friend, while the pie bar was baked by Razzle Dazzle Bakery. Guests took home mini jars of jam (made from wine — how appropriate!) from Emily G’s Jam of Love. And the lovely photographs that recorded this most special day? That was all Jill Thomas.

Winter Wonderland, Part II

by in Inspirations, Main on

We’re back with more from our Colorado winter wonderland! First, though, we have to take a moment to wish a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one Ms Lara Casey!! It seems only appropriate to post this shoot today, as Lara happens to be back in Colorado, whizzing down the slopes with her family as we speak. From the SW ladies and all of our readers, we hope you have the most magical day!

But back to the pretty at hand. Though Shannon’s kids were a-to-the-dorable, this set of tablescape shots and couple portraits from Jeff Holt can more obviously be adapted to a wedding. And wouldn’t a winter wedding like this be divine? I love the team’s choice of a glitzy, romantic linen paired with more rustic details, and Cindy from Bloom Flower Shop in Breckenridge outdid herself on the florals. Do we have any readers planning a winter wedding? (Or, perhaps, who just had one?) Share in the comments!

Enough with the pretty people — on to the table!

This might be a weird question, but I just LOVE those forks. Do you know where the flatware came from?

Hi Lindsey! Not a weird question at all! :) I don’t have the source for the flatware at the moment, but I’ll look into it and let you know what I find. Thanks for stopping by!

This winter table setting is gorgeous. I secretly think everyone wishes they could have a winter wedding. The snow backdrop is gorgeous. And the apothecary jars with nuts and ornaments! Ah!
