Weekly Round-Up

by in Main on

Hello friends! It’s the very first round-up that March has ever seen! To make the transition from February to March, we decided to take a look back on some of our favorite things. First, we celebrated another year of our talented and one-of-a-kind editor, Emily. Her birthday was on Monday! (You can join in on our love fest here.)

Then we wrapped up January and February with our new Monthly Round-Ups. See January’s here and February’s here and tell us what your favorite details of the month were, too.

Whitney
brought us another great giveaway this week with an eco-friendly twist. Andrea Bonelli Jewelry designs had Whitney swooning. Take a look at some of Andrea’s pieces and you might, too! Enter to win a $75 gift certificate by leaving a comment on the original post.

Don’t forget to take a look at the wedding we posted this week! Lauren + Russ’s Texas wedding from V3 had great Southern details. My favorite? The personalized handkerchief Lauren gave her dad. See the wedding here and here.

This week’s round-up is short and sweet, but y’all know I can’t leave without some kind of send-off! Here it is, an awesome photo by The Image is Found. I hope your weekend is full of adventure.

Now go pull on your boots and have a good time!

The writing on the napkin is so sweet! :)

Ahhh! I love the boots. Everything is so simple and so Southern. Nice!

I LOVE the invitations used in the Lauren + Russ’s Texas wedding but I’m having a hard time finding them. Is there anyway you could let me know the name of the printing company? Thanks!

    • avatar Emily reply

Hi Peyton! Great question! Lauren and Russ actually made all of the paper goods themselves, so you probably won’t find them in stores! Lauren is a photographer (http://www.laurenmcclurephoto.com/), so you might try contacting her for more information!

Emily: Thank you so much Emily! I will get in touch with her!

Weekly Round-Up

by in Main on

I don’t know about you guys, but I think I’m still on a sugar high from all the Valentine’s Day candy I received. If you’re looking to prolong the happy feeling, too, this week’s Round-Up with all of our sweet features will be sure to do the trick.

Sweet and Southern, Emily’s Southern Spotting made everyone a magnolia fan. Leaves from the pretty white flower are perfect in a wreath to hang at the end of church pews or on the doors of your church!

Another kind of sweet, the “awww” kind, made its way into Handmade Find glory yesterday. This fleece blanket was made by the handsome man below, for his fiancee.

Since the weather is warming up (well, it is here in North Carolina!), what better way to celebrate than with a dress giveaway from Shabby Apple? Peruse Shabby Apple’s online boutique, then go to the original post to tell us which dress is your favorite to win it!

For beautiful photos and cute love stories, check out the real weddings on the blog this week:

Michelle + King’s Virginia wedding complete with crowns here and here.
Tara + Chris’s lovely barn wedding here and here.

We have more good new to pass along!

Having a wedding between May 21, 2011 and April 20, 2012? Tracy Turpen Photography is giving away a full day of wedding photography to a lucky couple! Check out the flier below and Tracy’s blog for more info!

Minted is having a huge invite launch! Over 175 new wedding invitations will grace Minted’s website. Want to see the new designs? Check out the small preview below and head to Minted’s site to see the rest!

And the sugar on top of today’s Round-Up…

A Southern proposal! Photographer Kelly Sauer was asked by Matt to shoot his proposal to Marsae in Charleston, SC. For the whole story and more adorable photos, head to Kelly’s blog.

Hopefully the treats we came up with this week will keep you energized until we see you again on Monday. Happy weekend!
