Southern Weddings

Ring toss, balloon animals, photo ops, tip the cat, candy and more!  There is nothing like being in a kid’s paradise at a wedding reception.  Courtney + Charles sure knew how to keep their guests having fun with a variety of games and activities. The carnival was set up by {Zebra Entertainment}. More to come in the next post…  Don’t you just love these games?

Today is a great  day at SW… we bring you TWO fabulous weddings to get inspired by!  This next wedding comes to us from the phenomenal {Victor Sizemore}.  Courtney + Charles’ wedding is another wedding I am adding to my “I really want to step into these pictures” list!  The bride, Courtney, is a graphic designer and created the entire wedding day celebration.  Kudos to Courtney for an amazing showcase of her talent.  Paper accents and invitations by {Recherche Custom Invitations}.  Courtney’s wedding gown was designed by {Maggie Sottero}.  Big thanks to {Victor Sizemore} for sharing this fun wedding with us today.  Oh, but there’s more!  We have two more posts coming shortly with all the whimsical details from this carnival celebration.

How cool is their wedding day poster!?  Love it!

What a beautiful wedding and a darling couple. Recherche has a beautiful selection of invitations and accents. They are a great company and I always turn to them when I am looking for a custom design to make an occasion extra special. Best wishes Charles & Courtney!

Is this the same wedding? Yes, it is.  As the night progressed, the color scheme for the wedding took a turn from the bright sunshine shades to a more pristine black and white evening.  I love when weddings tell a beautiful (and surprising) color story!  The reception was filled with fun and laughs. A photo booth and cigar roller kept friends and family mingling as the sun set.  The entire wedding celebration took place at {Rancho Las Lomas}.  Special thanks to {Leigh Miller Photography} for sharing these inspiring images with us! To see more check out Leigh’s blog for {Post 1} and {Post 2} of Scotia + Juan’s big day.   Congrats newlyweds!

Just gotta say that Leigh Miller is an awesome photographer. She’s got such a good eye for details. And I love the "Photo booth" shot! :)
