Is there anything more delectable in the early summer than strawberries? Inspired by this striking, yet unassuming berry that reminds us of Southern belles (see V6 for why!), we followed “Pick Your Own Strawberry” signs through Chapel Hill, consulted the Farmer’s Almanac to set a shoot date, rounded up our favorite redheads, and brought Berry Bliss to life.

Talk about serendipitous -- when we showed up on the day of the shoot, the field next to the strawberries was bursting with clover in our color palette!

Striped dresses, bouquet ribbons and boutonniere wraps may sound like a lot, but here, they look elegant and cohesive.

We love using readers and friends in our shoots, and this one was no exception - our bride, Cate, was the roommate of one of our interns, and one of the other lovely ladies is our former editor, Whitney Davis!
