Monthly Archives: May 2015

A wedding is one of the most personal, intimate experiences of a person’s life, so it is such an honor and a privilege when couples open up to us and share the joys, memories, and moments of that day. Naturally, we have a special place in our hearts for couples who have graced the pages of SW over the years, and in V7 and today’s Sweet Tea Sunday, we asked Natalia and Levi, whose wedding was featured in V4, to share their favorite thing about marriage with us. I think y’all will love what Natalia had to say!

My favorite thing about being married is having a permanent adventure (and sometimes non-adventure) partner. Experiencing life through a loved one’s perspective is such a gift. The fact that he makes me grilled cheese when I’m sick is a close second!

Keep up with Natalia:

With another editorial for our next issue checked off the list and under our belts, we’re heading into the weekend feeling accomplished and even more excited about all that’s to come this fall! Nicole and I also had the joy of working on a mini shoot on Thursday (hint: think summer fun), which we can’t wait to unveil in just a few weeks. There may have been popsicles and a sprinkler involved.

One thing I adore about weddings is that they are a beautifully unique intersection of looking back at your past, appreciating all that’s brought you to this point, and looking ahead to your future, with excitement for the life that’s to come. Your engagement ring can be an incredible symbol of this, especially if you choose a vintage engagement ring! We love the idea of giving an old piece new life through your commitment to each other, and Estate Diamond Jewelry has some beautiful pieces from which to choose.

With more than 30 years in the jewelry business, Estate Diamond Jewelry is an established resource for fine antique and estate jewelry. They have one of the rarest collections of outstanding diamond engagement rings from the Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco periods as well as an extensive collection of antique cushion cut diamond and old mine cut diamond rings.

Each special ring in their collection has been carefully selected by their experienced jewelers and gemologists. We love that their expertise isn’t just in buying and selling jewelry, but in understanding the items they see. Estate Diamond Jewelry has built their reputation on quality and integrity, and they maintain that reputation by offering only the best rings.

Excited to look for your own beauty? Their collection can be seen online, or you can make an appointment to visit their showroom in New York.

This post is brought to you by Estate Diamond Jewelry. Thanks for your support of the brands that make Southern Weddings possible!

I first come across this website last week, and ended up spending (way) too much time browsing through their website. I’m a vintage jewelery junkie!
