Hi Chelsey! You’re absolutely right — our mistake! I switched the giveaway end date to next Tuesday, February 1st. Thanks so much for pointing that out!

  2. avatar Cristina reply

I would customize the clutches so that they are ivory in color with an ivory flower on the outside. The interior would be royal blue to give it a nice pop of color. I’d add the wristlet to make it easy to carry around.

  3. avatar Heather reply

I have three bridesmaids, so this clutch would be a PERFECT gift! The ruffle fold over clutch with eggplant ruffle would match their amethyst bridesmaids dresses and silver shoes perfectly :)

  4. avatar AshleeG reply

I would do the scalloped clutch in black with a flower in fushia, a black wristlet, lining would be a coordinating pink, and each of their initials or names would be sewn inside with a scripture reference.

  5. avatar Ashley reply

I love these! I would choose the scallop fold over clutch in black with the ivory ruffle flower brooch (to match the black bridesmaid dresses!) Thanks for offering this giveaway!

  6. avatar Kim reply

I love these fold-over clutches!!! My maids are wearing navy, so I would go with the silver dupioni ruffled clutch with navy as the contrasting color.

  7. avatar Heather G. reply

My girls are all wearing different styles of dresses in different shades of aqua/robin’s egg blue with silver shoes. So I’d want one of each style of clutch in either ivory or silver with vivid plum as the accent color to give them a pop.

  8. avatar Danielle reply

I love the scallop fold over clutch in silver with an eggplant ruffle flower brooch. It would be a great gift to give to my sister and my fiance’s two sisters and it would go great with their purple dresses!

Eek! Do you know how hard it’s been for me to find teal bags? They have some beautiful silk ones. I’d love to get the teal for my bridesmaids and maybe a silver one for my MOH. The personalized tags that you can have sewn into the bags are adorable, too. I love that idea!

  11. avatar Allyson Cantu reply

I love the scalloped edges with the purple flower.

  12. avatar Rachael reply

I am totally loving the eggplant Silk Fold Over Clutch with the scolloped edges. The matching brooches in my wedding colors. A different accent colors for each bridesmaid- silver, black, and ivory. And for a personal touch, the silver label inside with a special thank you for each.

This would make a perfect gift for my very special bridesmaids!

I love the scalloped edge clutch! Also, the add on wrist band is great… a must.

My May 2011 wedding colors are gray and blush pink. The bridesmaids are wearing gray and my wedding gown has blush undertones. I think the silver scalloped clutch with a blush pink flower would be a wonderful gift for my special ladies!

LOVE the mustard yellow :) If I won, I’d incorporate vintage brooches onto the center of each flower/bow/etc to create a customized look for each bridesmaid ! LOVING THESE!!!

  17. avatar Elizabeth P. reply

What great purses! I would love to personalize the bags by adding ruffles in complementary colors but different fabrics.

  18. avatar Laura reply

Oh my goodness, I love me some color, so I can’t even start to decide how I’d customize them, but I’m sure I could decide if it meant I could have one of these fabulous clutches!

  19. avatar Joy reply

The silver with scalloped edge and I would love to attach a cranberry flower! The inside would match the flower add on.

My wedding is in October so my colors are warm yellows, oranges, reds, and greens. I also am going for a vintage theme for my wedding. I really liked the clutch with the ruffles on the side and the buttons down the middle. I thought that it would go with the overall vintage look. I would customize them to be in a warm yellow or orange instead of the ivory.

I was totally planning on getting my bm clutches, I love these! I have 8 bridesmaids so this giveaway would be a great start. My 2011 wedding colors are gray, black, ivory and hydrangea green. I would customize the clutch for my bm by doing a black body ruffle folder over style with silver ruffle and by adding a white silk and tulle embellished flower (with pearls in the center for a true southern female). Then add a fun green print inside with initials and our wedding date. To coordinate with the bm I would do a white clutch with silver ruffle and same white flower for myself the bride. You have to add the wristlet to make it an everyday or night accessory!

I’d love the scalloped clutch in bronze with a teal flower brooch. My girls are wearing wine colored dresses with bronze shoes and vintage-style teal and bronze accessories.

My wedding is September 17 and i’ve been looking for that perfect clutch for my bridesmaids. I really love the bow fold over clutch with an eggplant colored bow on a silver clutch. My wedding colors are eggplant, purple and lavender so those would be soo cute!

  26. avatar Molly reply

My wedding has a gray, white and kelly green palette. My bridesmaids will be in the kelly green color–I think I’d do the silver scalloped clutch with a silver flower…I think…how do you choose?! They’re all so cute!

I am in love with these clutches! My favorite would have to be the bow fold over clutch! I’m doing a very traditional black and white wedding with red accents (shoutout to Katherine- I loved your b&w wedding!), so the ideal clutch to go with my black bridesmaid dresses would be the bow clutch with an exterior black fabric, white bow, white trim, and a red lining to add that pop of fun and sexiness!

Thanks for the giveaway BabbsBoutique and SW!

  30. avatar Erin reply

I’d get 2 with a green pouf and 1 with a blue… then i’d also probably buy an extra one with a blue pouf (4 bridesmaids). But I’ve been desperate for help with the bridesmaid’s gifts – so this would be great!

  31. avatar Jess H. reply

I love the fabric! I’d choose the ruffle foldovers in medium blue with black trim for my bridesmaids who are wearing black. It would add a beautiful pop of color. Thanks for the chance for the giveaway!

I LOVE these Clutches!! I am a huge supporter of Etsy, so to find this on here was amazing!! I have 3 Bridesmaids and 1 MOH, so these would be such a special thank you gift for them to show how much I appreciate all their help, hard work, and participation in our Special day!! I would customize each one differently to show their personal styles. Our wedding colors are a few different shades of green and pink. Love the ruffle outline (this would work great for Kassy’s modern side), the bow I would choose for Lindy (she has a very sophisticated style), the ruffled fold over design (that belongs to Natalie! She’s spunky and classy rolled into one!) and last but not least my MOH Mandy would get the Poof!! She is fun, funky, and loud! And the POOF screams that!! All of these accents would be in fuschia and light pink with the clutches being silver! I would also include a special message to each one and maybe add a lil bling for them to wear on the BIG day inside as an extra surprise! Thank you so much for presenting this opportunity for Brides! Its hard to come up with creative ways to make your bridesmaids feel special and not just give them an ordinary ole gift! These would be perfect!!

  33. avatar Whitney Freeman reply

    I LOVE these clutches!!
I have a lot of bridesmaids, but I have a Maid & Matron of Honor. I also need something cute to carry my things in=]
I would want All three in the Scalloped fold over, Two of them with the Eggplant color flower & then a third one with a Ivory color flower. (my girls dresses are going to be a deep plum/eggplant color)
I want the gifts for my maid/matron of honor to be different than the gifts i give to my bridesmaids!!!

    • avatar whitney Freeman reply

and i would want all three of the bags in silver, forgot to say that. =]

  34. avatar Erin reply

I just adore the scallop foldover clutch! For my ‘maids I’d get the clutches in black and make sure there’s an emerald rosette on the corner since the girls’ dress colors are emerald green and the wedding colors are emerald, black, and white/silver. They’re dramatic, but DEFINITELY use-again-and-again friendly, and truly the perfect bridesmaid gift!

  35. avatar EmilyL reply

oh my goodness! I am using scallops and stripes for my wedding decor so naturally the scallop fold over clutch would be PERFECT! I’d either pick a yellow or navy bow. Oh, they are so cute! Though…if she could do the new middle ruffle on the scallop I’d choose a navy scallop clutch with a silver big ruffle and the sunshine in the middle.

  36. avatar Rebecca C. reply

I love the scallop fold over clutch! My wedding colors are pale blue and yellow. Since the bridesmaids dresses will be pale blue, I would get the clutch in silver with a yellow ruffle flower brooch. They are beautiful!

  37. avatar Brynn reply

I love these clutches!! So cute! My best friend’s wedding colors are grey and Malibu blue, I’d love for the flowers on these to be a pretty bright blue, they’d match us perfectly!

  38. avatar Nicole reply

I love these! I would totally want the ruffled fold-over clutches with sunshine ruffles… like these: http://www.etsy.com/listing/59185437/customize-your-own-silk-fold-over-clutch

I absolutely adore these and would love to win! My colors are grey/yellow/orange/teal… so these clutches would be PERFECT!

  39. avatar Stacy reply

I love the scallop fold over clutch with the flower–I would do it in copper with maybe a sunset orange flower, with a sort of teal colored lining. I would love to personalize them on the inside if that is possible. Beautiful!

  40. avatar Ashlin reply

I LOVE these clutches. My bridesmaids’ dresses are actually made from dark brown dupioni silk so the BabbsBoutique clutches would complement them perfectly. I would probably customize it by using the Dark Champagne dupioni with a dark brown contrasting fabric. Not only would they be great for my girls for the wedding but they could most definitely use the clutch over and over!

  41. avatar allison reply

This would fit our colors perfectly! I’d love to win the scallop fold over clutch in silver w/ fushia pom!

  42. avatar Katie reply

I would keep the clutch color as shown on this blog post, but I would opt for a lighter purple fabric flower. These are so pretty!!

  43. avatar Caroline reply

These clutches would be just the right accessory for my bridesmaids! My maids are wearing different styles of long Amsale dresses in slate blue. My vision is for each clutch to be different so I can match the unique styles and personalities of each one. The bow would be great for that preppy southern girl and the flower is perfect for some of my fashion – forward girlfriends. I’d love to have the clutches in champagne and incorporate a pop of contrasting color in parrot green or silver blue. The finishing touch – once I got the clutches, I would have them embroidered on the inside flap to include a special message to my dearest friends.

  44. avatar Anna D reply

LOVE this trend for bridesmaids gifts! I would select the Ruffled Top Silk Fold Over Clutch in Peacock Blue Dupioni Silk with Light Gold and Dark Champagne Dupioni Silk as the accent ruffles. Great give away SW Mag :)

  48. avatar Courtney Reynolds reply

I lovee these! I would choose light dusty gold clutches with scalloped edges. One would have a sweet pink bow, one a pink flower and one would have 3 little hearts spaced out above each scallop. Pretty! Pretty! Pretty! My bridesmaids will love these!

  49. avatar Elizabeth reply

The clutches are fantastic! I love the vintage feel that some of them have–which is something I am going for with my wedding style. My wedding colors are celadon/sage green, gold, and cream. I love the silk pleated clutches that she has designed, so I would start with that in a cream color. have a narrow band of the green silk where the hem line for the pleats are with vintage looking rhinestones on it that are set in tarnished-looking gold. I also love the chains–that is a must! The lining on the inside could bring in more of the deep gold color. Y’all are awesome!

  50. avatar Susan reply

I’m on the hunt for cute clutches for my bridesmaids and these are perfect! I like either the silver or copper silk in the ruffle or scalloped pattern. And a white flower to adorn them would be the icing on these adorable cupcakes! What a great designer…and giveaway!

  51. avatar Martha reply

My sisters would love these–especially because they love to match! I would choose the ruffle fold over clutch for them, sweet and pretty like they are, in navy with the ruffles in royal blue. We all like blue and those are my wedding colors. I would have them as wristlets, and add a silk name tag that had each of their full names plus “sisters forever” and the date.

  52. avatar Katie reply

The bow fold over clutch is UNREAL. I think that it would describe both myself and my bridesmaids in a way that many other potential bridesmaids gifts could not do. I would actually love to make it in a sunset rose with an aqua blue bowcombination. Sounds a little wild, but when my colors are peachy coral and light turquoise – man, I sound more particular than I really am! – I think it would be a fun and memorable way to remind them of my colors, while also giving them something they could wear again with their dresses. These clutches are so fun. I would love them in any color… I might just have to get one for myself… ;)

  53. avatar Laura P reply

Love these clutches! I am going to gift my girls clutches instead of flowers to hold down the aisle. I love the silk foldover and my vision would be for the purse to be mustard yellow with a sapphire blue flower. I would want my MOH to stand out a bit, so I’m thinking hers would be the “Ruffled Top” clutch in mustard yellow, with the ruffle in sapphire blue and slate grey. Delicious!

  54. avatar Adrienne reply

I would love to win this!!!!!! I imagine a bubblegum clutch with a bold black bow off to the side. My girls are wearing pale pink and black heels so these would really set it off!

The artists of Babbs Boutique are so talented; these clutches are absolutely beautiful! My favorite is the ruffle-fold over clutch…I can just imagine it in fig with an ivory ruffle, and a fig-colored wristlet.
    What a thoughtful giveaway!

I love the ruched edge and scalloped clutches. These are adorable! I love all of the combinations.

  58. avatar Bella reply

Babbs Boutique clutches are absolutely lovely. I have a peacock themed wedding and I would customize the clutches to be navy blue on the outside, and lined inside with vivid plum or purple, with a small gathering of peacock feathers in the corner. Since I am wearing a dupioni silk dress, it would be great to have the clutches made out of the same material.

    • avatar Brianna reply

Such cute clutches! I love the silver with the navy blue dresses that I am thinking of for my bridesmaids! I would do the silver with the ribonned edge in navy, and (while I am not sure that this is an option on the etsy site), I would have them monogrammed in navy!

  59. avatar Taylor J reply

Oh these are gorgeous! If these were for my bridesmaids, I’d have the silver clutches with each one having a different pink or yellow embellishment (flower or bow depending on the girl’s personality) and a small monogram placed on the lower right flap of lid. HOW ADORABLE!

  60. avatar Sydney Dawn reply

Like Katherine, I am a big fan of bows so I would go with the bow fold over style in brown with the copper bow for a fall wedding.

  61. avatar Sarah W. reply

I have 3 bridesmaids and I know they would love this! Although they all have such different personalities, I can honestly say they would love the fold over with the bow! I would likely get the copper color and accent it with black or ivory. Our black and white black tie wedding is just the perfect setting for the beauties!

  62. avatar Kimmy Stablein reply

I am absolutely enamored by these clutches. I love the idea of tying in the theme color of your wedding with the beautiful appliqué flowers on the many versions of this clutch. I would give each of my bridesmaids a different style of clutch as their bridesmaid’s gift for their “carry-all” on my big day! What a great, versatile gift that can be used over and over again! It’s like the gift that keeps on giving! Beautiful, BabbsBoutique!!

  63. avatar Lauren G reply

These bags are awesome! They would be perfect for my two maid-of-honors and myself! I would keep the shape of the scallop foldover clutch, but I would add a navy ruffled trim to follow the scallop shape. Simple, yet stunning!

  64. avatar Jenna F. reply

These are absolutely adorable! I would customize these for my 5 bridesmaids with the yellow and gray. Those are my wedding colors, and my girls’ dresses are bright yellow, so I would love to see them in the silver with the sunshine trimming and details! My favorite foldover clutch is the one with the bow. So chic! Of course, if I won, I would have to purchase two more :)

  65. avatar Sophie reply

I LOVE these clutches. I saw the clutches with the burnt yellow/golden accessories on the side and was drawn to them. The grey and yellow are two of my colors, and they would look perfect with my bridesmaid dresses, which are linen: tea green, burnt yellow/gold and a deep grey/brown. My bridesmaids are my best friends, I would love for them to have these little clutches!

M <3’s H (sweet vintage sign courtesy of Sweet Peas and Seashells) and we <3 Hillary + Matt’s indoor reception at the Owatonna Country Club. Yes, that is an escort card make from Scrabble letters – too cute! The couple served a simple flower-topped cake from Valerie Mullenbach (yum!), proving less is sometimes so much more. (Still loving that lovely cardigan, Hillary!) For more from H + M’s Minnesota wedding, visit Photogen’s post on the big day.

Purple is one of my very favorite colors (shocking, I know: I actually like something besides black and white!), and seeing the rich hue on Hillary’s attendants (courtesy of Eden Maids) is a cheery reminder that warmer weather – and brighter colors! – is on the way. Hillary + Matt tied the knot in Minnesota, where the team at Photogen, Inc. was on hand to document their big day. I’m 100% on-board with brides dressing down their gowns with soft, feminine cardigans, and Hillary’s peach-colored wrap is lovely next to her beaded Weddings by Tess gown. For all you DIY’ers swooning over the burlap “Love Naturally” sign, you can find your own at Sweet Peas and Seashells!

How did the two of you meet? We shared a popular literature class together during Matt’s senior year in high school. The following fall I was nominated for our High School’s homecoming queen and needed a date. I worked with his sister and she volunteered his phone number. Instead I gave her my number, and oddly enough, he called!
Describe the proposal. That morning we did some sightseeing in and around Duluth, MN with our friends. After lunch, Matt mentioned there was an incredible lighthouse in Two Harbors, so we decided to check it out. As we were walking through the trails in Two Harbors, MN at the Split Rock Lighthouse tourist area, I saw a woman taking photos of her family out on a pier and thought “hm, that’d be an amazing photo!” I turned to Matt and asked, “Do you think she’d take our photo?” He replied, “I think so, just ask her!” She happily agreed! We carefully made our way out there and after she took a few, she said, “Okay I got a couple good ones!” Just then, Matt put a finger up and said, “Hold on just one more second.” Then he said, “Hill, I love you SO much, you’re going to be my wife” (he was SO nervous and told me before he asked!) as he reached for his left pocket he got on one knee he pulled me close and excitedly asked, “Honey, will you marry me?”
Three adjectives that describe the day are: Elegant, joyful and blessed.
Our favorite detail of the wedding was: Definitely my bouquet! Cherie did an amazing job. She was more than our florist, she is an incredible friend. She even took the vintage clip-on earrings I found and included them in the most perfect way!
Tell us about finding your wedding dress: Finding my dress was initially quite the chore, I knew I wanted something “different.” My maid of honor Traci found the dress and told me to try it on. It fit like a glove! I loved the neckline on it, as the strapless dresses just didn’t seem to fit my style. The beadwork was intricate, yet simplistic. Instantly, I knew the search was over and after finding the dress, our vision for the wedding came together easily! We made a few minor alterations to the dress, which made me love it even more!
