Hark, what’s that?

That’s right!  If you’ve been following along on Twitter, you know we’ve made a last-minute decision to add 36 pages to the November issue.  Y’all know what that means in terms of content, as we revealed yesterday, but it also means that we have a few more ad spaces available for our fabulous vendors.  We originally had 6 spots.  That number is now down to 4.  If you’re interested, email Katharine as soon as you can to inquire about ultra last-minute rates.

In the meantime, check us out on Twitter here, here, here, here and here for more late-breaking announcements and sneak peeks as we hand this baby over to the printer!

And you know what I love? That all of your pages aren’t ads! Just another reason y’all are thriving and others are shutting their doors.

You may have noticed there isn’t a Wanwisa Wednesday post for today, even though it is, indeed, Wednesday.  It’s Wanwisa’s two-year wedding anniversary, so we decided to give her the week off and instead take a minute to thank her for all her hard work as a Guest Editor of Southern Weddings.

Wanwisa first caught our eye when Lara fell in love with her elegant, minimalist, foodie-inspired wedding in New York as featured on Style Me Pretty.  You can read more about the details on her blog here, and see the three-part series Wanwisa wrote about the to-die-for details on the Bliss blog here, here, and here.

Happy anniversary, Wanwisa!

Lots of love,

Lara, Katharine, Emily, + Whitney

Well, friends, as you may have noticed, we’re a wee bit behind on getting weddings posted this week.  No, we’re not raiding a candy store (yum!), exploring Emily’s snowy New England hometown or even skiing (though we know how much Miss Lara wishes we were!).  No, ladies and gents, we’ve been hard at work on our next issue, due out stores nationwide this November!  We couldn’t be more excited about sharing our hard work and the beyond-fabulous images of so many talented photographers with you.  And while it’s been a busy week since Lara’s return from Las Vegas, we think we owe y’all a little sneak peak.

So what’s in our next issue, you ask?  How about:

  • 2 brides with tattoos
  • A devilishly handsome pro baseball player
  • Lots of secrets we’re not telling yet.

And now, without further ado: a sneak peek at our new cover featuring the Mammoth Men, who are about to tour the “Dirty South” on their next adventure in a few weeks!

JUST KIDDING y’all!  Our real cover will be revealed at our launch party in Atlanta on November 6th.  Party details coming soon!

Hugs and Kisses,

Lara, Katharine, Emily & Whitney :)

Nice! What’s wrong with that sexy cover? hah.Looking forward to the new issue. I wish I lived closer and could attend the reveal party. On that note, my vote is for a reveal in Texas sometime in the future. :)
