Must Read: Lyndsey Hamilton emailed me about her new fabulous blog, {LHEverything}!  Be sure to check it out.  So many fun and inspiring posts – a definite must-read. How about this gorgeous Prairie Chic spread they put together for The Knot. “We were so excited by the theme and called Matthew Robbins from Artfool. We came up with some cute ideas and are so pleased with how everything looks!  Bubby’s provided the pies, Mira Aster provided the invitations, and Matthew provided the floral arrangements and place settings. Hope you enjoy…”   We certainly do!  Lyndsey and her fabulous team will be guest blogging on SW very soon. Stay tuned…

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Sheryl and Dane’s bold and beautiful wedding celebration is so full of life and warmth.  Shot by the fabulous Jennifer of {Jennifer Bowen Photography}; Wedding Planner: Ashley Stone {Something Blue Events}; Bridesmaids Dresses {Twirl Boutique}; Florist: {Fiori Floral Design}; Cake: {LaDolce Pesca}.  From Jennifer… “Sheryl and Dane’s outdoor ceremony was followed by a rooftop reception beautifully decorated with bamboo chairs and mahogany rattan charger plates, brightly colored Japanese lanterns hanging from the overhangs, and vibrant, gorgeous flower combinations. A local club DJ spun tracks old and new to keep the dance floor hopping. The most important thing to Sheryl and Dane was that their wedding day was a true celebration amongst their friends and family. These two are very, very loved by close-knit groups of friends, and their families. It became clear, quite quickly, why they are so special to many; they are both so genuine and easy-going, and funny! We had a great time just being silly to capture naturally beautiful photos of them. Their beautiful wedding was planned by Ashley Stone, owner of Something Blue Events, and all of the details helped ensure a beautiful day!”  Thank you so much, Jennifer, for sharing this stunning wedding with us!  For more of Sheryl + Dane’s big day details, visit {Jennifer’s BLOG}.  Enjoy~

Wouldn’t it be funny if Sheryl and Dane had a friend couple named Darrell and Shane? :)

Wow. These are phenomenal. The colors are beauuuutiful and there are so many wonderful details that I am just in love with…the ring bearer’s pillow, the paper lanterns, the simply elegant centerpieces with adorable votive candles. Just gorgeous!

Photography by {O Grace Photography}, Designed by the FABulous {Outstanding Occasions}…  Be sure to check out the {O Grace Blog} and the {Outstanding Occasions Blog} for more on this lovely wedding!

Behind-the-scenes details from Heather at {Outstanding Occasions}…”This wedding design was inspired by the paisley invite by Celebrations in Paper. The coral, beige and black was a new, fun color scheme for us to work with. The programs (and many other items, including the menus, table numbers and place cards) were designed by The Invitation Lady. We found a paisley fabric to match the invite (almost perfectly:) and incorporated it into many items. We provided the florist, A Wedding Occasion, with the fabric and they covered the vases of the beautiful centerpieces to incorporate the paisley design into the tables. We put the sparklers that we used at the end of the fab wedding for a send-off in a plastic tub filled with sand and covered the tub with the paisley fabric and tied the “Celebrate” tags, made by For Your Party onto the sparklers. The “Enjoy” napkin rings were also ordered from For Your Party. We again incorporated the fabric onto the place card board. And I could not help but include a photo of the oh-so-stylish Manolo Blahnik shoes of the bride:) Love them!”

Boutonnières: I made all of the bouts for the groom and the groomsmen. They are made from fabric. For the groom and his brother we included a ribbon that had the initials of their dad, who had passed in prior years; Hankies: The bride gave both of her sisters (bridesmaids) hankies that had the wedding date and their initials embroidered on them in the coral color of the wedding; The Dress: The bride wore a stunning Monique Lhuillier dress from Destiny’s Bride. She looked flawless!; Flowers: A Wedding Occasion designed the beautiful floral arrangements of hydrangea, ranunculus, and tulips. Kristen did an amazing job!; Venue: The Country Club at DC Ranch was such a beautiful location. Sharon and her entire staff are great to work with and are just fabulous!; Favors: We stamped the donut bags with “Enjoy” and the paisley design and then had a custom stamp made with the couple’s names and wedding date on it and stamped the coffee cups. Everyone loved taking home donuts and coffee after they partied and danced the night away; Band: EastonAshe rocked the party! Everyone loved them and said it was the best wedding band they had heard; Food: We had stations such as Teppanaki, Pasta, Salad and Carving. The guests really enjoyed the atmosphere of being able to try different things at each station; Cake: The bride wanted to do cupcakes, so we kept with the color scheme and the pastry chef made cupcakes with white icing and a white chocolate top with the couple’s initials in milk chocolate; Final Goodbye: I had custom hang tags made for the rear view mirror of each guest by For Your Party that said “Thanks for celebrating with us.” and then had the couple’s names and the wedding date.

Fabulous details, Heather!  Thank you for inspiring us!

Gorgeous! I just love the coral color (I think too many people are afraid of such a bold color, but it really makes a statement!). And, the back of the bride’s dress is simply stunning!
