I love these colors! What a fun theme with the old jazz legends. I love this wedding! That cake is very cool.

I really love the yellow napkins in the tea cups… they look like big yellow callas! That’s a really neat way to add color. Beautiful wedding!

This contest was a little crazy… 126 votes in 2 days!  The competition was fierce, but after tallying the official votes (yes, we can see your IP address, so multiple votes from friends didn’t count), the results were a little surprising!  There were definitely two favorites: 3 and 8.

#3: Shot by Michelle at {Oeil Photography}.  How did she do it?  From Michelle: "it was a 30 sec exposure, used a little key ring light"

#8: Shot by {Rae Leytham Photography} of her super-cute daughter enjoying some SWS cheerio fun.

The votes are in (and if you don’t believe this, I will send you a shot of my IP registry and comment list–I didn’t believe it either! I counted four times)…. drum roll….  #3: 51 and #8: 52!  This was FAR too close, so we have decided to give both of you the grand prize!  Both winners get a banner ad on the SWS Blog for a month OR a $25 {Paper Source} gift card.  Shoot me an email with your pick.  Congrats to the winners and to everyone who voted!  You won’t believe the contests we are about to announce next…

Wooohoooo!! YAY Avery!!! I really did like #3 too, but I had to vote for my baby. Thanks to all my friends and family who voted and thanks to everyone else who voted for #8. It was about a cute baby, yummy cheerios, and how much WE LOVE SWS!!!

Both pics were great but I have to say #3 was my favorite! Very cool :-)

Photography by {Shannon Wright}, Location: {The Foundry}, Cake: {Cecilla Villaveces Cakes}, Coordinator: {Ally Haggerty, Unforgettable Soirees}, Flowers: {Gardenia Floral}We are loving these soft florals!  Congratulations Amanda and Eric!

What was the design inspiration for your wedding? We are both relaxed, laid-back people, so we didn’t want a wedding that was stuffy.  We wanted something classic that wouldn’t looked dated. I was also inspired by the Tiffany’s box-I loved the shade of blue and incorporated it through our wedding.
Describe your wedding flowers: Gorgeous tulips, roses and hydrangeas, in shades of ivory, pink and peach with crystals
Describe your wedding cake: Delicious!? Three layers, one was lemon, one was vanilla with strawberry filling and the third was white chocolate with raspberry
How did the two of you meet?  We were introduced when I was working at my first job out of college by one of my co-workers–his best friend.  We lost touch for a couple years and ended up running back into each other a few years ago and he asked me on our first date
What was your most memorable moment about your wedding day? When I walked down the stairs before the ceremony and saw Eric for the first time that day
Scariest moment? When the doors opened for me to walk down the aisle-especially b/c my contacts were in the wrong eyes and I couldn’t really see!
What advice would you give to someone planning their wedding? Things will work out how they want to-and most of the time you don’t have control. Hire a planner.  Mine was awesome and really allowed me to actually enjoy the day.

Hi. Thanks for the recommendation for the wedding planner. My fiancee and I are considering The Foundry and will also contact Ally, to see if she’s available the week we’re planning, given she’s got experience at that venue. Have a great married life together!!
