Hello Everyone! My name is Elizabeth! I have my own blog, {Tie the Knot}, where I have been chronicling the details for my June 7th wedding. I started my blog mainly so that my fiancé could keep up with the wedding plans while he was in Iraq, but it ended up being a great place to keep all my ideas and share them with others. The “theme” of our wedding is preppy with a touch of nautical. Our colors are Navy Blue and Kate Spade Green, which by the way is nearly impossible to find, so its more like a mix of Kelly and lime green. The first thing I knew that I wanted was Navy invitations with engraved white lettering. Well there was 2 choices, Vera Wang or Kate Spade. We went with the Kate Spade invitation and made a few changes. We lined the inner envelope in green instead of navy. Mint Julep Paperie, the paper store we used, made the response card and the reception card.

More to come on our preppy details…  (enjoy Elizabeth’s "Dream Board" here)

I just have to say that I chose kelly green (kate spadeish) too as one of myy colors and I agree, if i had known HOW HARD it was going to be to find I would have never done it! I thought it was a common color, but everything from the bridesmaid dresses to the invites have been impossible!
