{Visio Photography} in Marion NC shot  Janna and Joey’s lovely Southern wedding at Boone Hall Plantation just outside of Charleston, SC.  We LOVE this shot of the moss dripping from the oh-so-southern oak trees.  Such beautiful texture and what a picturesque frame for a ceremony.  The lace on the bride’s veil is just gorgeous.  Congrats Janna and Joey and many thanks to James and Jenny at Visio for these perfect pics!

I just love the "look" that Jenny and James bring to a shoot! They manage to capture things in a way that’s both elegant and fine art, too.

This couple is just amazing. Atlanta-based photography duo, Anne and Danne Almasy of {Almasy Photography} shot these fab images of Joni & Chip’s November 2007 wedding in Ellaville, Georgia. The couple had a big hand in the design of this wedding.  Joni creates all the designs for Southern Proper (www.southernproper.com) and they used a custom version of the cotton bowl tie for the wedding. (and even sold them on thier wedding website (which Chip designed!) {ChipandJoni.com} for charity) As if that weren’t enough, the couple also created all of the paper goods (below).  Chip’s design company, which he started with his brother, is called Hybrid Design (www.hybr-id.com) incase you are curious!

The kudos keep pouring in and we are so grateful.  Leah Harrison is one of our fabulous features editors and also head of PR for SWS.  She worked with all of the celeb publicists to make interviews happen and pics get to the right place.  Most of these letters are truly credited to Leah and her great relationships with everyone she meets.  This was a very exciting letter for us to receive tonight from Mindy Weiss‘s publicist, Michele Shuman…

Leah – The issue IS TRULY FANTASTIC and I LOVE everything you did.  Mindy was freaking out about it and LOVED how you sent it.
I also just got the chocolate truffles {from our fav Nonnie Wallers!} and the handkerchief today – you have truly outdone yourself…THANK YOU so much for the gifts.  I should be giving you gifts as you’ve been amazing to work with.
I am so looking forward to working with you again – I have an AMAZING CUSTOM INVITATIONS CLIENT that works with Mindy and Preston and David Tutera etc – and I would love for you to profile them if interested – LEHR & BLACK.  {lehrandblack.com}.
Take care and thanks again.  If you’re ever coming to LA, please let me know because I would love to take you to lunch.
Sincerely, Michele

I just got Mindy weiss’s new book (The Wedding Book) and it’s SOOO helpful. It really breaks things down and makes me not feel completely lost about my wedding. Kudos to Mindy!
