I also recently had the opportunity to do hair and makeup for actress AJ Cook of Criminal Minds, and the lovely ladies of Southern Weddings for their team photo shoot!
How I got into weddings: Being a daughter of a hair stylist, I practically grew up in a hair salon, so I have always had a passion for hair and makeup. I realized six years ago that God truly blessed me with a talent and that I should make it a career and use it to bless others–I love making women look and feel good about themselves, especially on their big day!
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The food is always phenomenal. Shrimp and grits, mac and cheese…yes please!
Favorite part of a wedding day? Getting ready, of course! I love getting to be behind the scenes with the bride on her big day and make her feel so beautiful!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Be sure to enjoy the day and spend time with each other.

Early bird or night owl? Early bird–I just love the smell of coffee!
Favorite pie flavor? Apple pie with vanilla ice cream!
