As a family-owned and operated company, we strive to provide the utmost in customer service. Through our national fit network, we are able to serve out-of-town clients with ease, and since all of our inventory is housed locally in our Nashville warehouse, our response time to last minute orders is unlike any other. Customers can walk in looking for a tuxedo or suit and walk out with their order in-hand. We have been delighted to serve middle Tennessee grooms with the finest in men’s formal wear for over 32 years, and we cherish each new couple we meet!

How we got into weddings: We started as a full men’s clothing store in 1984 in the little town of Madison, Tennessee, right outside of Nashville. But as department stores started sweeping the nation, we found there was a need for a more specialized shop – a shop where men could rent luxurious formal wear at a fraction of the cost of ownership. So we changed our name to Street Tuxedo – Tuxedo Sales and Rental, and focused our efforts on renting formal wear. Since that transition, tuxedo and suit sales have become integrated back into our business structure, but our brides and grooms continue to depend on us as their trusted formal wear provider.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The respect of the actual MARRIAGE! The South has always held the act of marriage in high esteem, and we love hearing about married life from our couples after the big day has passed. After all, the wedding day is a beautiful beginning to a whole lifetime of love and commitment!
Favorite part of a wedding day? The look on the groom’s face when he sees his breathtaking bride for the first time! Whether it’s in a carefully planned first look or when the doors are opened for her to walk down the aisle, his look is always priceless.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Stay focused on the big picture: your future life together as husband and wife! We love talking details with our brides and grooms, but at the end of the day, you will be married and that’s what matters most!
