I had a hard time deciding what to give my brides maids as a gift. I ended up getting them each a piece of matching fashion jewelry as a little keepsake. It was a simple necklace and earring set but they seemed to love it and they can wear it with just about anything.

There are a handful of things that make me want to jump up and get married tomorrow. Kasia Fink Birdcage Veils are definitely one of them. They remind me of old Hollywood–red lipstick, antique car, a dashing leading man sweeping the bride off her feet and into a swanky hotel… they’re so glamorous!

Kasia describes herself as a lover of all things lovely, and that couldn’t be more true. She has created gorgeous fascinators and veils in a variety of lengths to please all brides and sassy gals. The gorgeous Marisa fascinator gives the veil a dramatic flair, while the Kasia and Ella fascinators are elegant and refined. All of the veils are handmade by Kasia herself.

I will probably not be dashing to the altar in the next 24 hours because I’d have to find a fiance pretty fast, but if I were, one of Kasia Fink’s birdcage veils would be sitting pretty on my head!

PS– That is Kasia in the black and white photos. Isn’t she cute?

I lovve her veils but her website has said she "currently doesn’t have veils for sale" for a long time :( I hope she starts making them again soon.

Welcome to the first ever Whit’s Picks, brought to you by me, Whitney! Every Monday, I will be showcasing a different fabulous product that I have come across during my many hours surfing the world wide web and corresponding with our always helpful readers. It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it!

Viola at Chewing the Cud introduced me to these beautiful, unique fabric gift wraps and I thought they would be absolutely perfect for my first pick. The fabric wraps are gifts within themselves. Each fabric includes a message: Give Luck, Give Love, Give Wisdom. How inspiring! Your gift will stand apart and look gorgeous in the Chewing the Cud Fabric Gift Wraps. But wait, there’s more! They are also entirely eco-friendly. The re-usable fabrics are all hand-printed on 100% organic cotton, with soy-based inks.

Helping the planet + Completely gorgeous + Useful & Reusable = Sheer Perfection

If you need tips on how to wrap any type of present in fabric, Furoshiki has the answer. Have fun wrapping!
