I was also in the “top wedding photographers to follow on Instagram” by BRIDES Magazine in 2016.

How I got into weddings: I started photographing weddings my senior year in high school for a local photography company, then I went to Savannah College of Art and Design and thought my focus was going to be in fashion. Joke’s on me, because as soon as I started shooting film, I migrated right back to weddings. It made me feel like an artist, something I was lacking at the time!
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? Besides the amazing food? I mean, it’s great… BUT I love the people. There is something about a Southern family that you can’t find anywhere else.
Favorite part of a wedding day? The moment the groom sees the bride for the first time. It really is something special.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Enjoy the day – the next day you’ll be on your honeymoon, so no need for stress!
Dream travel destination? Greece!
