Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The eternal sunshine, buttery biscuits, and charm that’s apparent in every nook and cranny. The South feels like home.
Favorite part of a wedding day? There are truly so many favorites (and handing the beautiful bouquet I spent hours on to the eager bride is up there!) but I have a special soft spot for the mother son dance now that I’m a mother myself to a little boy.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Prepare for your marriage as much as you prepare for your wedding day. You will never regret that. Oh! And be sure to get lots of beauty rest the night before the special celebration.
