How I got into weddings: After attending the Hallmark Institute of Photography, I began my photography career in the fashion industry. After a few years of traveling and learning from some of the top fashion photographers in the industry, weddings won me over. Almost five years later, I absolutely love what I do.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The laid-back charm, bow ties, outdoor locations and sweet love. Things are slower in the South and I think this often makes moments more genuine and down to earth.
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Carefully select your vendors, so on the wedding day you can relax and enjoy the moment. This will show in your images.
Dream travel destination: An African Safari
Favorite Southern city? Charleston
Early bird or night owl? Early Bird
Pie bar or red velvet cake? Red Velvet
Pottery Barn or Anthropologie? I can’t live without either, but Pottery Barn for the house and Anthropologie for clothes!
