Lauren + Russ chose an interesting mix of rustic and glam for their Austin nuptials. Check out all the photos here + here, and get the rest of the details in our most recent print edition! Our guide for nailing their style yourself starts now!
A. Since Paloma’s Nest is based in Austin, we think you’ll agree there could be no more fitting jewel holder than an original ring bearer bowl!
B. Russ showed his state pride with a pair of Texas flag cufflinks. We found these at Cufflinks.com — they’d make a perfect groomsmen gift!
C. Lauren changed from her sophisticated Priscilla of Boston sheath into a fun and sassy short lace dress for her and Russ’s “Johnny and June” sparkler getaway. We love this one paired with a little jacket and velvet booties.
D. One dress, 15 ways to wear it, 20 colors, no alterations: that pretty much sums up the glory of TwoBirds Bridesmaid. We think their offering is the perfect solution for brides who want a mix-and-match ‘maids look!
E. Lauren paired her clean and sophisticated dress with the perfect pair of cowboy boots. Looking for your own pair? Check out our exhaustive round-up!
F. Those of you who loved Russ’ adorable velvet ribbon boutonniere (like me!) will be delighted to know that it’s a DIY project from Martha Stewart Weddings! Check out the instructions here.
G. Get a luxe look for pennies by imprinting a simple muslin bag with a custom stamp. Carry the look throughout your wedding weekend, too — stock up on bigger bags for welcome totes, and petite ones for reception favors. We like this site for great prices.
H. Lauren’s sparkly earrings contrasted beautifully with her simple sheath. These pretties from J. Crew would look just as perfect post-wedding as they would at your ceremony.
I. Carnations get such a bad rap, but used as the sole bloom in large quantities and a tight color palette, they can be beautiful! Lauren + Russ proved my point well with their lovely purple bouquets.
J. Last but not least, we can’t forget Dear Old Dad. Even if the fathers aren’t coordinating with the bridal party, it’s a nice gesture to pick them up a tie in coordinating colors. We love the selection and price at The Tie Bar.
