When it comes to sourcing fun props and additions for the magazine, our Southern Surcees section is definitely one of our favorites to collect. We love pulling our favorite Southern finds, whether they’re doggie bow ties or mini pies! You bet we got our hands on as many monograms as possible (Marissa was dying over them!) and did not scrimp on anything sweet tea-inspired!

P.S. You can buy Southern Weddings V5 right here for more goodies!

Y’all, we could not get over how adorable these custom grits bags were! Do you notice any familiar names on these guys? They’re Lara’s + Emily Ley’s little girl and boy, respectively.

We had a very special guest model our doggie bow ties for this issue. Photographer Nancy Ray’s great dane, Winston looks mighty dapper!

The monogrammed bridesmaid shirts below are one of our favorite additions to the surcees feature. Who doesn’t love a crisp oversized shirt with a bright pink monogram? We about died when the lovely ladies at Shop Memento sent us samples in our own monograms!

Oh my, that’s a lot of Southern goodness. All of these items have made our prop closet look mighty cute, but now it’s time for another V5 giveaway!

Enter to win the item of your choice by commenting below with your favorite find! Is it A) The Butter My Butt and Call Me A Biscuit book, B) the pink bow clutch, C) the engraved iced tea spoons D) The “Bless Your Heart” pendants, the E) Lilly Pulitzer iPhone 4/4S case in Delta Zeta or F) the state tea towels in North Carolina or Dallas, Texas?

Be sure to enter before April 5. Good luck, y’all!

My favorite find definitely has to be the “Butter My Butt & Call Me a Biscuit” book. Every day on my way to the baseball field, I pass an authentic vintage truck with the bed full of baskets of fresh peaches. I’m almost embarrassed to admit it, but I’ve never stopped! BUT that could change soon, because now, a visit is officially on my summer (and #southerndoin) to do list. Nothing could be more appropriate, actually, because August is National Peach Month! Yum – just another reason to love August! In honor of this juicy fruit, we’re rounding up our favorite sweet as a peach finds for you. Keep an eye out for a few more peach-centric posts throughout the month!

A. Keep cool on hot summer night with this Peach Tea dress from ModCloth. This softer shade of Nicole’s favorite color is sure to have you looking sweet.

B. Peachy-colored invitations definitely make for a fun twist on the classic ecru. We love this modern square style.

C. We can’t help but include this Serendipity Romper from our friends at Love Ophelia. Even Emily’s favorite, the former Bachelorette, Ms. Maynard, is a fan!

D. After seeing this shade of Essie on my girl Ashley Brooke, I can’t help but be obsessed with this peach polish called Tart Deco.

E. Poms are one of my favorite easy-peasy decorations for summer soirées!

F. I think adding these adorable stripe straws to sweet tea at a bridal shower or bridesmaids’ luncheon would be the perfect detail to any peach party!

G. This cult classic Georgia Peach blush from Benefit may be my secret weapon for bright summer skin! It gives the ultimate peachy-keen sheen on cheeks without being overpowering!

H. Looking for a unique hostess gift? This waterproof vessel combines the ombre trend with a soft pop of peach color sure to brighten her day!

It’s no secret that I’m a fabric junkie. I love all things textile-related and I have an overflowing drawer full of fabric at home that tells me that I find fabric faster than I know what to do with them.

Lucky for us, there are people like Andi of Andi Mans, who turn the patterns and colors of fabric we love into something purposeful and pretty. Her fabric backdrop streamers are country chic and I’m digging how she used pinking shears to get a zigzag edge. Couldn’t you see yourself saying your “I Do’s” under the the limbs of oak trees with this backdrop behind you? Or maybe set it behind the dessert bar at the reception?

To Enter: Head to Andi’s Etsy shop and take a look around. Come back here and tell us where you would put the fabric backdrop! For ANOTHER entry, tweet “I just entered the @andimans giveaway on the @iloveswmag blog today!” Then come back here and leave a SEPARATE comment telling us you did so!

Win: One backdrop streamer in floral Southern peach fabric!
