My Maid of Honor and I have known each other for almost 12 years now and I was so excited when the day came that we had finally known each other for longer than we hadn’t. There’s a special bond that you form when you go through all of your hardest moments in life as well as your best together. From going through our awkward preteen and teen years to truly knowing God and even coping with my parents divorce, she has been there through it all as a true friend and confidant. There was never a doubt between ever my fiancé or I when it came time to choose my Maid of Honor. She has made a bigger difference in my life than she could ever know and more than I could ever express and that’s what makes her special (and one of a kind).

My maid of honor is an aMAZing woman and a twobirds dress would be the epitome of her personality! She is so versatile and wears so many hats-from a marathon runner, young leader, world traveler, friend, and best sister EVER. I would love to be able to give her one of these dresses that she could wear in any style she wanted for all of her awesome adventures. PS I have been admiring these dresses since I began planning my wedding! They are beautiful!!!

How can I pick just my Maid of Honor as special? I have three amazing bridesmaids! However, my MoH is my younger sister. She’s amazing because she’s everything I’m not! I’m the straight-laced one. She is full of life and energy. She sees the good in every person she meets and would give anyone her last dollar if you needed it! She’s truly fabulous!

My Maid of Honor is a truly exceptional woman. She is a marathon runner, world traveller, teacher, student, friend, and best of all big sis. When I think about her I think of the pictures of us when we were little– how she played with me in the kiddie pool, or how we got mad at my dad at the state park one day because he wouldn’t get out of the car and tell the bear to stop eating the trash. She has been there for me over the years and is now stepping up to be more helpful than I could have every imagined- from helping find a band/ DJ to helping us secure a rehearsal venue. She is awesome. I am so excited to share this very special day of my life with my family, especially my wonderful sister who will be standing right next to me the whole time.

My Maid of Honor is my little sister. We’ve had a rocky relationship over the last few years, but despite petty arguments and BIG family disputes there was never any doubt that I’d want anyone else standing beside me on such an important day. She’s the strongest person I know. And the most loyal, too. She’s taught me a lot about generosity, strength of spirit and that people can actually change when they really really really want to. I can’t wait to go through this journey with her by my side.

My Maid of Honor is the strongest person I know, my sister. Growing up we would have terrible fights and often tell each other that we hated the other but if we ever heard someone else talk bout the other we would always step up and put an end to it. Since we’ve grown up we have become very close and not a day goes by that we don’t call or text several times. She has gone through so many things someone her age shouldn’t have to and has always come out being able to help everyone around her cope. She was a teenage mother that was able to to go on and finish school and college. This year has been and probably always will be remembered as the worst year of her life, as she recently lost a child and the amazing thing about her is she was able to carry on and not show how badly that has effected her. I can not think of another person more deserving of one of these dresses, as she always looks beautiful in anything she wears.

My maid of honor is my twin sister, Erica. We’ve been through it all and still manage to remain friends and are ready to share this experience together. We will be going on a 24 year relationship this year, and she’s been helping me with all the ideas, planning and stresses of the upcoming wedding. I’d love to win these twobirds bridesmaid dresses and allow her the opportunity to really shine as my maid of honor in her own individual way.

Growing up in a bustling Southern California town together, you couldn’t find two grown women more different, yet more alike. And that is why I love my maid of honor.

My free outdoorsy spirit and her chic businesswoman focus are bound by our value of true friendship and passion for life.

She has been my welcome home from worldwide excursions; my shoulder to cry on despite over thousands of miles of distance; my go to for fashion, finance, and life changing decisions.

She has been there. And will always be there. This I know.

Well I could be here all day telling you why my maid of honor is so special to me and why our relatonship is so great but, to sum it all up for you. My maid of honor Ruth is my dearest friend. And as we all know true friends are hard to come by now a days. I can honestly say that she is the most caring, down to earth, country girl I have ever met. She has always been there for me and my kids. Never turned her back on us and would be by our side at the drop of a dime if we needed her. I guess the reason that makes her “extra” special to me is because my kids are my world and my kids think the world of her. The saying goes that kids can sense when a person is good or bad and all they see in her is good. She is my someone who has marked a place in my family’s heart, one which will never go away! Someone who I am proud to call my maid of honor and my best friend. :)

My MOH has been my best friend since the 7th grade, 13 whole years. Many brides would describe their MOH as the other pea in the pod, however, we are two very different people, which is why our friendship has lasted so long. She is the listening ear, while I’m the talker. She is my voice of reason, while I jump into things too quickly. And most importantly she is my motivation to be a better person. I am lucky to have a women in my life that has always been like a sister and who I know I can call on for anything and everything! This dress would allow her to put her twist into something that I already love!

My Maid Of Honor is not only my best friend but she is my little sister. Megan is and always has been my rock. Our Mom passed away in 2008 resulting from a heart transplant she had in 1997, and without my sister I never could have gotten through her passing. In the years since her passing our lives have been completely turned upside down. Going through graduations, school dances, everyday life and now a wedding without our Mom has been harder than we ever could have imagined. Although throughout everything we have always had each other. All of the wedding dress shopping and planning is something I never imagined my Mom not being a part of and everytime I break down Megan is right there to pick me back up. She is such a strong young woman and she has no idea how special she is to me. I honestly do not think I could do this wedding without her. And that is what makes my maid of honor,my best friend, my little sister so special!!

My maid of honor was my sister. It doesn’t get more perfect than that. She has been my sister, friend, and even roommate, so there was no doubt that this job was hers as well. Though we’re just past the wedding, time-wise, she’s still my maid of honor in my heart. She was exactly who I wanted by my side, because she gets me like no-one else can!

My maid of honor is like my sister. My grandma and my mom love her like one of their own. We’ve been hardcore bffs for 6 years. She grew up in Georgia but half of her family is from Germany so she is an interesting mix of southern and european. Now we live in Raleigh and she is a high school counselor, no doubt one of the hardest jobs around in my opinion based on the stories i get from her. She works about 4 jobs at all times, she is the funniest person i know, everyone loves her, her laugh and smile are contagious. we GET each other…our sense of humor, our brains, our ambitions, our politics, our hopes for our country and our own lives, we don’t have to explain anything. Before my fiance was my fiance, the 3 of us were inseperable. Its not easy being the one left out in the cold when 2 friends realize they love each other and want to start dating. It was hard at first and there were some unpleasant words said and thoughts thought. But three years later we are planning my wedding. we live in the same house in apartments on top of each other. We worked at a summer camp together and met and forged a bond that will last for our whole lives i’m positive. we’ve traveled together, been drunk together, been scared together, been happy together, been pissed together, been ourselves together and grown into women together.

My maid of honor is my sister and also my best friend. We used to have tea parties with our stuffed animals in the driveway. I used to let her give me makeovers and clean out my closet (she’s an organizing goddess). She is 3.5 years older than me, and my whole life I wanted to be just like her. She recently lost her home, cars, and a lot of gifts she got at her wedding in June in the tornado in Tuscaloosa so it would mean a lot to be able to give my sister and best friend a wonderful gift to thank her. I love her so much!

My maid of honor and matron of honor are my sisters. Being the oldest I think I received the best gift-watching them grow up into two of the most amazing and beautiful women I have ever known. They have been through absolutely everything with me and I can’t imagine life without them. We are all very different with our own personalities and likes and dislikes so the two dresses would be such a perfect fit for each of them. I have a very small wedding party-the two of them plus my best friend for 16 years and I wouldn’t want anyone else to be with me on the morning of my wedding day. :)

  17. avatar Jessica reply

I actually don’t have a wedding party, in all honesty. Our wedding is only including 14 guests, and most of them are flying to Seattle from New York, so we decided not to have a party group. That’s also because my fiance and I are members of the same circle of friends who have supported us since we started dating in college seven years ago who we still look to for advice and to swap tales.

All of these people, though, are amazing. From helping me through illnesses to analyzing my cookies, to moving across the country with us. I can’t pick just one person, as they’re all so important to me. I’m really humbled that I have my friends, and I hope that’s just as cool as having a maid of honor.

My MOH has been my best friend since the 5th grade. 16 years later, we have been through so much together, from awkward middle school years, to figuring out who we were and what we wanted out of life after college. We have ended up in very different lives, but we are still as close as we ever were. I don’t know what I would do without her! She has a huge heart and has always been able to get me to leave my comfort zone and go on adventures with her, and I wouldn’t be who I am today without her!

We were quick to become friends in high school and I, along with my family, have considered her a sister/daughter ever since. She is my polar opposite in many ways – she is blonde, athletic, tan with clear green eyes whereas I am brunette, lanky, freckled with brown/hazel eyes but we are practically the same height (5’7″ and 5’9″ respectively) and size and share the same love for life and each other. She is the loud one but kind of a push over, the athlete, and the sole reason we have stayed friends all these years (she calls me at 7:30AM on Saturday to just say hi — annoying but endearing) and I am the reserved one but opinionated, the bookworm and so thankful for her calls everyday (even if they are at 7:30AM on a Saturday). Our friendship has survived through the years (14 to be exact) even though we have lived in different cities for half of that time. She deserves so much and I would love to be able to take care of her dress for my wedding in May 2012. It would be an amazing thing to be able to offer her because she has done so much so far and will want to help me with everything. Long story short – my MOH is as good as they get!

My maid of honor is the most wonderful woman in the world. She is my absolute best friend. We met in college and when we tell people we met in the showers, they get a big kick out of it. Don’t know why :)

Her name is Kristie and she is the absolute hardest worker and most compassionate person I’ve ever met. We’ve done a lot together over the years and call ourselves the Dynamic Duo. Even though we live a few hours apart now, I miss her all the time and think of her every day. We always talk about the trips we’ll take together once we both land jobs ::fingers crossed:: If anyone deserves a beautiful dress, it’s her.

My maid of honor is my sister. We have been through so much together and I couldn’t imagine my life without her; let alone, not having her as my maid of honor. She is only 17 months older than me so we are very close. As we were growing up something un-imaginable happened to us. We never knew it was happening to both of us because we never told a sole. My sister’s senior year (my sohpomore year) she some how found the COURAGE to tell a friend what had been happening to her. We were pulled out of school and that is when I found out that it was happening to her and also when my mom found out it was happening to both of us. Needless to say I am forever grateful that she was so brave! When something like that happens to people they can handle it in different ways. Unfortunatley, my sister has had many hardships in her life but has found a way to get through it all. She is now 30 years old and is finishing up college while raising my 8 year old nephew as a single mother. I am so proud of her for finally gaining her independance and getting on track with everything. She struggles but she perseveres and finds a way. The thing about my sister that warms my heart the most happened this year. She accepted Christ as her savior and has truly turned her life around. Like many others, she hasn’t had the easiest past, but she kept pushing through, learned from her mistakes and came out on top. She is the best sister and I Love her very much. I am honored to have her stand next to me on this very special day. For her to recieve one of these dresses would be a small token of what I feel she deserves. Thank you for the opportunity!

My “maid of honor” is actually the “Man of Honor.” My brother is the most amazing person on the planet and I usually don’t tell him often enough. We are 4 years apart and have taken care of eachother since we were children. He is smart, kind, tough, sweet, caring, social and the life of any party. His bright personality and sunny disposition can make anyone smile. He does not know it yet, but I will be asking my brother to be my “Man of Honor” on my special day… He is one of a kind!
*I plan on having a couple very close friends in the wedding as well so the dresses will be for them and not my brother ;)

Cortney and I are more like sisters than friends. Our friendship began when my family and I moved to a small East Texas town, a town where pretty much no one moves to and your friends had been your friends since before you were born because your parents were friends. I am a shy girl, until you get to know me, and Cortney and I lived just down the road from each other. She was always nice to me and invited me into her close-knit circle of friends. I remember our freshman year yearbook- I signed it and said, “Well, we live close to each other so I guess we can be friends,” and she laughed and said, “Wow. I’m glad I know where our friendship stands”. That was 13 years ago. Since then, I moved away for college but Cortney stayed and worked with my father to grow his business into the success that it is today. She has been a second daughter to my mother and a second aunt to my niece. She has a six year old son that I adore- his pictures are all over my desk at work making some people think that he’s mine. She is at all of our family functions and dinners. She is the most amazing person I know. Always happy. Always willing to go above and beyond for the people she loves. Always trying to be a better person for her sake and for her son’s sake. I don’t know where I’d be without her and I cannot imagine having any one else stand beside me, on my wedding day, and on every day past that.

My sister, Cassandra is my maid of honor. She is younger than me & has always looked up to me. She used to drive me nuts when we were growing up. She was always following me around and wanted to do whatever I was doing. We fought a lot too, while growing up. When I moved out of our parent’s house three years ago, I realized how much I really do love her. She’s an amazing person, that puts everyone first, she’s helped me out many times. She loves animals, and anything that has to do with being outdoors. She lost her job a few years ago, and just last year went back to school. I’m very proud of her doing this & for becoming such a wonderful young lady.

My little sister, Meghan, will be my maid of honor. We are almost 3 years to the day apart in age and are very much like night and day in personality. We have fought with each other, laughed with each other, cried with each other, and comforted each other. Through it all we have been there to pick each other up when the other is down or tell it like it is. There is no one else that I would rather have beside me to share all of this maddness (aka: wedding planning) with. She has really kept me grounded and sane. We have been through so much together and I want nothing more than for her to stand tall and confident beside me in a dress that she will wear again and again.

My MOH is my best friend, Heather. She came into my life when we were freshmen in College at Adelphi University on Long Island. I was a good Texas girl and she was a true New Englander. We spent countless hours in laughter, tears, sharing clothes, and supporting one another’s dreams. Her family became my family as I could not afford to travel back to Texas for many holidays and spent them in Rhode Island as the “third daughter.” Heather’s younger sister, Abby, was born with spina bifida- a disease that took her life just two years ago. Heather and her mother asked me to be the third person to sit as a director on the board of a not for profit they created to makes Abby’s legacy live on-raising money to support art therapy programs like the ones that Abby loved so much. I was hugely honored. Today, Heather and I live worlds apart in Montana and New York City. We don’t get to see one another very often and we are both very busy with our individual lives. But we are still there for one another at the drop of a hat, and she means the world to me. I cannot imagine getting married without her standing at my side. No matter what she’s wearing, she’ll look absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to return the favor, standing by her side some day.

My matron of honor is my future brother-in-law’s wife, Nicole. I was really close with their kids, who are now 14 and 5, because I absolutely adore children and am studying to be an elementary teacher. As time went on, I became a lot closer with FBIL and Nicole. She and I started spending a lot of time together because we are both very crafty. We made two baby books and a scrapbook for future husband’s grandfather about his time in the Navy. He just passed away in December, but I know how much the scrapbook we made meant to him. He showed it to everyone. Since we spent so much time together doing these things, we became to closest of friends. When future husband, Derek, and I talked about who we would want in the wedding, he said, “You can’t deny the fact that Nicole is your best friend!” I had never really thought about it before because our relationship was always so easy and comfortable! We get along so well and our personalities just mesh together perfect! She has been so fabulous in my planning process, and I have NO idea what I would do without her!!

My amazing maid-of-honor is my little sister. Growing up we were so close even though she is 6 years younger than me, but things changed when I graduated high school and went off to college. She seemed to have a feeling that I abandoned her when I went to college. She stopped talking to me and we both became jealous of what the other had. This went on for about four years until our grandfather passed away. That became a time in our lives where everything changed and we realized how much family means to us. When she graduated high school she moved to the city I was in and went to the same college I had just recently graduated from. She also became a part of the same sorority that I was in and I was able to suprise her and pin her at initiation. We hung out all the time and even though we had our seperate group of friends we both were always welcome to hang out with the other. We are now extreamly close and she is and will always be my best friend.

My maid of honor is my closest friend, though I’ve only known her for six years. I work in academia and tend to move around a bit, so I have friends in many places. When I got to Virginia, I felt like I was finally home. Sarah grew up with a parent in the foreign service, so she understood the transient lifestyle I had bee living. She also understood my appreciation for diversity, but knew why the concept of “home” was so important. We’ve seen each other through hard times in relationships and work with understanding and laughter. What makes her amazing is that despite being ill right now (she’s actually down in Durham for tests as I write this), she still wants to cheerfully talk about flowers and dresses and all the things that really shouldn’t be her priority right now. She’s amazing.

My MATRON of honor is very special and dear to me because she is my sister and very first friend. After a childhood of being mistaken for twins, she and I went our separate ways the year she went away to college and later got married. Since then, we’ve grown closer in heart despite being up to thousands of miles apart in distance. She is a beautiful soul, an amazing role model and mother of two precious little boys. I have learned so much from her (from how to keep peonies alive to the proper means of frying chicken) and continue to look up to her for guidance and encouragement.

Our friendship is about as unconventional as a friendship can be, but somehow we came together and have been inseparable since we were 12. We understand each others feelings without even having to say a word to each other. When she hurts, I hurt, when she laughs, I laugh. She has always been not only by my side, but by the side of my whole family. Words could never even describe what a wonderful and strong woman she is and I am truly honored that she is part of my life.

Our good friend passed away while I was away and she spent her money to long distance call me, share the news and console me. Now she sends me emails back and forth with drink ideas and dress ideas and is more than willing to help me with my DIY projects. She is truly the best and has always been there for me. I have a maid and matron of honor, each of my two sisters. Growing up it has always been the three girls, and I can’t imagine my big day without them. As we have gotten older, I’ve truly come to realize what a blessing it is to have sisters. They are there to laugh with, cry with, and everything else in between.

  38. avatar Kelly reply

My matron of honor is my older sister. Although it was always a given that she would stand next to me on my wedding day, I never realized how much it would mean to me. We’re two very different people and often would butt heads when we were younger. But as we’ve gotten older, I see us become more and more similar every day. My wedding has given us opportunities to bond in a whole new way, and now I look up to my sister more than ever! She is a beautiful, strong, loving wife, mother, and sister, and she means the world to me!

  39. avatar Cheryl reply

Why is my maid of honour so special? Not just because she’s my sister, and not just because she continuously puts up with my non-stop talking about my lovely fiance. She’s special to me because of the memories we’ve shared. She may be five years younger than me, but when we used to share a bedroom together there was no difference – we were just sisters.
Now as I’m planning my wedding, I’m astonished with her ability to overcome any awkwardness by being in the bridal party. It’s filled with my best friends, and we have always been known to be a closed group, but she works so hard and so out of her comfort zone to not be put out, because she knows it means a lot for them all to get together and enjoy it.
These are only a few reasons, but she’s my sister, I love her, and that says enough.

  40. avatar Loren reply

My MOH is hysterical! She’s the little sister I never had. She’s is absolutely hysterical and I love her (in the best friendliest way a girl can love a girl.) Did I mention she’s hysterical?
While planning my wedding she has offered many times to (if needed) gladly dismiss/tell off/get rid of any one who plans on ruining the day in any way. (Including the grandma-zillas on both sides….) She has taken on the MOH role like a queen while honoring me and my wishes and letting me rule when I need to, and, if necessary, will remind me of all the positive and tell the craziness in me to sit down and shut up. (Like I would ever need that…)

I love you little one :)

My MOH is my best friend from college. Before I met my fiance, she was my personality balance – as in, she is so outgoing and spontaneous, whereas I am the planner and a little more buttoned-up. She has gotten me to do so many awesome things in my life – such as go on a study-internship with her that led me to meeting my fiance! Even now that we don’t live in the same city any more, we can send each other emails or texts that would NOT make any sense to anyone else, but we both know the other is laughing hysterically on the other side. I miss her so much!

My sister is my Maid of Honor. I’m four years older than my sister. When we were growing up she always looked up to me & followed me around. Being the older sister, I didn’t want her around as much as she was. I thought she was annoying. I finally realized how much she means to me when I moved out of our parent’s home & nine hours away from her. She’s a caring, smart, sweet, funny person. She’d do anything for me, and at times has. She lost her job a few years ago & last year went back to school. I’m very glad she’s my sister, and I’m proud of the young lady she’s become.

My maid of honor is my best friend since the 7th grade. She has always been the shoulder I cried on when my past relationship didn’t work out. She was the one who knew my fiance was the right guy for me by pushing me to go on a date with him. We been through ups and downs in our relationship and I know I can always count on her. I knew she would be the one to stand by my side on my wedding day and put up with my madness with planning the wedding.

I been eying these dresses for awhile they are beautiful!

  44. avatar Suzy reply

When the time came to choose my MOH, it was a no-brainer. I chose the TWO most wonderful and beautiful women in my life to be my Matrons of Honor. I’ve always known that on my wedding day, I would have only them stand beside me and no one else. It’s been the three of us since elementary school and our bond is one of my most prized possesions. We’ve gone from trading stickers, sleepovers and ballet class to dinner parties, careers and babies and everything in between. They’ve found the men of their dreams and now that I’m about to marry mine, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and love for these women and I know how fortunate I am. This wedding completes a chapter for us, in that we will all have found our counterpart and I would love nothing more than to gift them with these beautiful dresses.

I could go on and on about my maidS (yes, two) of honor. My little sis and my best friend. I could not have picked bigger enthusiasts and encouragers. I love them both and have loved sharing the planning/freaking out/rejoicing process with them!

  46. avatar Molly Wood reply

My maid of honor is not only my best friend, but also my sister-friend. For 27 years, she’s the only sister I have ever known. I grew up in a household with three brothers so she was my only escape into “girly hood”. She and I even fought like sisters since day one.  And when we were both 13 years old we begged our parents to let us go visit a family friend in Indianapolis.  Somehow we convinced our mommies!  With mini duffel bags, $100 each, and subway sandwiches  in tow, we hopped on the greyhound bus dressed as little boys so strangers wouldn’t bother us!  Little did we know, you aren’t supposed to leave your belongings behind during the rest stop. We were robbed! At 13 years old, my sister-friend and I had our first major heartache… no money, no clothes, and no food. But we made it through the horrific situation together. And to this day, we keep pulling through our battles together. We’ve been there for each other through it all;  from boys to obesity…. we share our secrets.  Just this year, she even lost 30 pounds for my upcoming wedding and of course her health.  She’s been a blessing to me for 27 years. Saving me from being a tom-boy and simply being the best sister- friend ever! A snippet on paper does no justice to the love I have for this girl. I truly heart her.

  47. avatar JoEllen Diggs reply

My maid of honor, Jenna Brie, has been my best friend for over seven years now, and even though we are opposites in many ways, we were destined to be friends. We both grew up in small farming families, her in Shelbyville, TN and me in Paris, TN, but our paths had crossed long before we met on our first day of college in Nashville.
One weekend soon after we met, a group of girls went to visit Jenna Brie’s hometown. Later her grandparents were asking about the visit and when they heard I was from Paris, said (as grandparents tend to think that everyone knows everyone they know) “Paris, eh? Well she MUST know Mr. Diggs!” Of course, that Mr. Diggs was my grandfather, who had years ago camped in their front yard and served on a state board of directors. The Mr. Diggs whose wife had handcrafted the Christmas tree skirt 30 yeras ago that their family uses to this day.
Little did we know, but we were carrying on a tradition of friendship between our families. Since that day, we’ve celebrated our own made-up holidays, cried on each other’s shoulders, traveled to and fro, played in the fields and looked forward to special moments in each other’s lives, such as my upcoming wedding day. You see, Jenna Brie is a professional photographer, so she had a double role to play in my big day. Now all she needs is a fantastic dress from twobirds Bridesmaid!

  48. avatar Ashley Stout reply

My maid of honor is my best friend. We have been friends for little over three years now and I do not do anything without her. Her brother committed suicide two months ago and that was the hardest thing to go through with be a friend but I know that through any struggle or challenge that God puts in front of us we can tackle it together.

Sooo many cute dresses, however, I am in love with the Champs Elysees dress.

The peekaboo pleating sold me the minute I saw it. Put some fun colorful shoes with the dress and this will make the perfect outfit for some pictures!

This was tough! I found four that I love. Bonheur, New Caledonia, Oh la la, and B17 bombshell! My speicail occasion is a college graduation / engagement party for my fiance and I. We both graduate from the University of Alabama, so I think my perfect dress needs to have a little crimson/red in it! If I had to choose, I would pick the Oh La La dress. Its a little Alabama-ish and fun for a shrimp boil family get together. This dress would make me so confident when many of my family member’s meet my fiance’s family for the first time!! I hop I win!!! :)

I have two favorites, one is The Black Oak and the other is L’Opera. I’m getting married next fall but planning on doing an engagement photo shoot this fall and The Black Oak dress with a cute pair of boots would look great with the bright fall leaves. I would love to wear L’Opera to a bridal shower or the rehearsal dinner. I think that would look great at any wedding related event.

My darling sister is getting married in June…and as the matron of honor, I will be wearing a different dress than the other bridesmaids. I need something modest, but also really stylish to go with the theme of her wedding. I have loved Shabby Apple for years and would buy every single one if I could.
    My VERY favorites though are:
Bethesda Fountain or Carnival (for her wedding, since navy is one of her colors)
or L’Artiste, which would be perfect for the outdoor rehearsal dinner…PLEASE pick me!!! : )

  27. avatar Sarah Gilreath reply

I also “liked” them on facebook.

You were NOT kidding about it being hard to choose a favorite from Shabby Apple! Mad Men is one of my fiance’s and my favorite shows and this was basically the show’s fashion, but actually available for purchase! Can you say dream come true? I think one of my favorites is Skymaster–it’s so gorgeous and looks completely Old Hollywood Glamorous, but is still practical to be worn today. I can see myself at the ariport welcoming home my will-then-be husband when he returns from Afghanistan this coming December!

If I have to pick just one dress, though it would be Carousel. With so many bright colors and a fun pattern, you can pair a fabulously colored pair of shoes with this dress and just have fun with it. I’d definitely wear this to a Sunday afternoon bridal shower or pair it with a cardigan and some pumps and wear it to work!

Although, I’m quite to the engaged stage of life yet, I am a devout SW follower :) I loved your recommendation of Shabby Apple, as I’m always looking for new dresses that are not on every other young woman I see. My favorite dress right now is the Cider. Like I said, I have no engagement party or bridal shower in the near future, but I do have the perfect place to wear it! I’m an 8th grade English teacher. Since I teach at an underprivileged school, my children haven’t been exposed much to classy or professional style. I try to dress in a way each day that promotes self confidence and respect. I can totally picture my girls loving this dress paired with some neutral heels … or as my 14-year-old girls say my “teacher flats.”

We are planning on driving and that is one of the highlights of the trip. its be great for that sunset picture while looking at the amazing scenery

The Freshwater Peal dress in the essential section is absolutely adorable! It has a giant bow on the front of it, just like my wedding dress has on the back of it. Perfect for my Rehearsal Dinner! :)

My favorite dress is the This Side of Paradise. The satin material is sophisticated and elegant and the ruffles and bow still make it playful. Paired with a great pair of pumps it will be perfect for a wedding I am attending in in the Fall. The wedding colors are a deep blue and silver so It will fit in and look stunning at the sleek ballroom setting. Plus I know I can convince my boyfriend to wear a tie that matches!

My favorite ensemble, although it was a tough decision, is the L’Artiste. I am looking for an outfit that is classic but one that will also photograph well for my engagement pictures. I think the L’Artiste would be perfect because high waists are flattering on my figure and I also think it would be so cute with either red or yellow heels.

The Cotton Candy is the ideal dress for me to wear to my rehearsal dinner! I adore the bright, young-at-heart palate interlaced with the playful, vintage-inspired design! This dress is casual, yet sophisticated, simple, yet majestically inspired, and perfect for a breezy summer evening at the shore in late June, allowing me to feel confident and beautiful as I undertake the final rites and perfect those last minute details in preparation for the most important day of my life. I couldn’t see myself wearing anything else!
