Tweet! Tweet!

Sometimes we forget that there are those of you out there who haven’t been following along with us from the beginning.  We forget that you might not know about Southern Weddings of the Week (they’re awesome!), about our Wedding Resources section, or even about our print edition (okay, y’all must have been living under a rock if you don’t know about that!).  And sometimes we forget that you might not even know about TWITTER!  But you should know about Twitter, and you should follow us!

Why? Because we talk about all sorts of exciting things.  For instance, we talk about things we like to eat…

…things we learn…

…we talk about exciting places we visit…

…the exciting things we do…

…and the just plain wacky things we do…

Good!  Now that we’ve got you hooked… follow us here, here, here, here, here, and here.  Yes, we know that’s a lot, but we’re all kinds of worth it.  Pinky swear.

In Remembrance

Pausing for a moment to remember those who lost their lives in the September 11 attacks eight years ago, and to thank all those civilians and servicemen and women who helped out on that day and the days that followed it.

God bless America.

Thank you for doing this post. I’m active duty in the Air Force and was a little surprise about the lack of even a mention of September 11 by most of the blogs.

Yes, thank you for reminding us to be thankful. I feel so blessed to be an American.

I have to stop and say a very happy birthday to Whitney, my right hand woman, who is leaving her teen years today and stepping into the big 2-0.  If you know Whit, you know she’s wise well beyond her years.  Every time we say her age in the office, our jaws drop.  She has more class, wit, drive, passion, smarts and power than most 30 year olds I know.  If I was half as incredible as she is now at 20, I’d be president of my own country by now.  Whitney, you never cease to impress me and make me smile.  Thanks for being so warm, giving, courageous and downright hillarious.  You deserve the best birthday ever!  I love you so much!

And a happy belated birthday to Katharine who celebrated while I was in Florida.  If you missed her bday video, be sure to check it out here.  It’s a bit dark, so listen carefully for familiar voices (aka- Jory, Kyle, Jeff, Fred, Whit, Em, Sandi and friends).  Katharine, you blow me away daily with your brilliance.  You are a force to be reckoned with and I can’t wait for the future with you!

Huge hugs ladies!  I miss you already!

xoxoxo

Emily and I want to wish our lovely Miss Whit a happy, happy birthday!  We both have loved getting to know you this summer and are so lucky to be working with you.  Thank you for making our office (and our lives!) a much happier place.

All our love,

Katharine & Emily
