Southern Weddings

Monthly Archives: October 2015

Along with the many wedding pros and vendor friends we asked to share their favorite thing about marriage for V7, we also asked someone else who is very special: you! We loved opening up this question to our dear readers on social media, and are excited to share some of the sweet responses we received!

Southern Weddings Weekly Round-Up

by in Main on

I hope y’all are following us on Snapchat (swmag), because if you are, you saw that Southern Weddings V8 is officially printed!! Nicole spent most of the week in Wisconsin at our printers, making sure everything went off without a hitch and every page looked exactly the way we wanted it to. She even brought a copy of the cover back to the office for us to ooh and ahh over yesterday–y’all, it is SO beautiful, joyful, and Southern. We have all our fingers crossed that you love it as much as we do!! Be sure to preorder your copy here, especially if you’re outside of the Southeast where we’re not as heavily distributed…or if you just want to make sure you get a copy ASAP!

We’re currently counting down the days until we get to reveal the NEWEST Southern Weddings editorials to y’all (eeeeee!!!), but it’s still almost as fun to look back at past projects and enjoy them all over again! We try hard to make the ideas we share with y’all meaningful as well as beautiful, current as well as timeless, and a good indicator that we’ve succeeded is when we love something just as much years after it debuted as we did on newsstand day. Such is the case with Blackberry Beauty from Volume 6, inspired by family dinners, delicious food, and tasty desserts in starring roles.

Hugs to Lauren Kinsey for these beautiful images!
