Oh, friends–get your tissues out for this one! When a bride and groom choose a family farm for their wedding, you just know that their day is going to be filled with warmth, hospitality, and a whole lotta love. In Nancy and Patrick’s case, their celebration was all the more meaningful because the farm was also where her parents had tied the knot 29 years earlier! From her sister’s touching toast to her sweet daddy’s words of wisdom, it’s easy to see that this day meant so much to every single member of their families. We’re so grateful that our Blue Ribbon Vendor Life Stage Films shared all of this early autumn sweetness with us!

From the bride:

Our favorite detail of the wedding was our venue. We were married on my family’s farm, exactly where my parents exchanged vows in 1985. Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed about getting married at the same place as my parents. I was able to walk out the same door that my mom and her father walked out of to the man of my dreams, just as my mom had walked out to my dad. It was so very special to live out my childhood dream–and the day was so much better than what I ever imagined!

During the reception/dance party, I remember looking around and saying to Patrick that the day could not have been more perfect. It was overwhelming to see our favorite people in the world in one place in one time to celebrate us. In that moment, I was so filled with love!
