Southern Weddings

Merry Christmas Eve, belles and beaus! We are signing off for the next two days to spend time with our family and friends, but before we do, we wanted to wish you a very joyful and restful holiday, full of your favorite traditions. We have loved seeing so many of these traditions y’all hold dear on Instagram, thanks to our fun #SouthernHoliday hashtag, and before heading out to wrap the last few gifts, snuggle by the Christmas tree, and set off firecrackers (see below!), we thought we’d share a few of our own favorite #SouthernHoliday traditions with you.

@MarissaKloess: Spent the evening watching Elf the Musical and crafting with my best girl. And, since she’s a mini #SouthernWeddings gal, she has already perfected helping style a photo. More accurate–she just gets into everything (this was not posed, she was pulling everything on the floor)! #EKsfirstChristmas

@EmilyAyerThomas: Sharing our Christmas cards on Em for Marvelous today! One of my favorite holiday traditions :)

@LaraCasey: On Christmas morning, my mom lights firecrackers–the really loud ones–around 6 A.M. :)

@NicoleAYang: I tend to channel my mom over the holidays and get overconfident with my sewing machine. Not too shabby, though, right? Another one checked off the Southern Weddings Holiday To-Do List!

@KN_Winchester: Naming our Christmas tree is one of my favorite annual Christmas traditions. Dear friends, meet Walter Dean Winchester! Sad to be leaving him soon, but excited to be NC-bound to celebrate the holidays (and defend that cookie crown) with the best friends and family a girl could ask for!

@Lisa_Janel: This year’s gift wrap: polka dot kraft paper with red and green velvet ribbon!

@MorganEMoore: Matching my twin with furry slippers and flannel pajamas…one of my favorite Christmas traditions!

Merry Christmas to you and yours, with love from all of us at Southern Weddings!
