What’s better than a wonderful wedding video? Not much–except for maybe a wedding video that includes proposal footage! After swooning over Laura and Mason‘s sweet love story and meaningful wedding, it was such a treat to see their special moments come to life on film. Many thanks to Films by Flint for sharing this with us!

Brian was and is such a talented professional to work with and he did SUCH an amazing job documenting Mason and Laura’s that day!

One of the best parts about living in North Carolina is that both the mountains and the beach are at our fingertips. While I’ve made many trips to the west over the last five years, I’m a little embarrassed to admit I’ve yet to experience the Outer Banks! While I have a bit of work to do to correct that gap in my travel history, I know many of y’all are OBX veterans, and some lucky belles are even getting married on our sandy shores! Today’s post is for you.

The beautiful Sanderling Resort, the Outer Banks’ only full-service resort and spa, is hosting its Wedding Showcase on Saturday, March 15. Couples will have the chance to meet with some of the area’s top wedding experts, including bakers, florists, photographers, and officiants.

The Showcase will be immersive, with a palette of inspired themes and interactive experiences spread throughout the property.

While the Showcase will give you the chance to meet with many vendors from the area, it will also be the perfect opportunity to check out the Sanderling itself, which recently unveiled a multimillion dollar redesign and brand new wedding venues, including the indoor/outdoor Pavilion, an Event House, and an outdoor deck complete with fire pit. The Event Lawn might be our favorite, though, since its observation deck is just steps from the ocean and perfect for intimate dinner parties!

We were also tickled to hear that the Showcase coincides with the annual OBX Taste of the Beach festival, which features more than 35 restaurants — sounds like the perfect opportunity to make it a getaway, especially since Sanderling is offering a special nightly rate of $139 for the weekend of the Showcase! Call 877-650-4812 or book online with code SHOW.

Additional information on the Showcase, including an up to date roster of vendors, can be found here. Tickets are $15 per person and the show will run from 11am-4pm on March 15!
