Southern Weddings Weekly Round-Up

by in Main on

Hi y’all! We hope everyone is safe and warm after another week of winter weather in the South. If your Valentine’s Day plans have been interrupted by snow and ice, we’d love to hear your creative backup plans! How about a candlelit dinner at home, a cozy movie night on the couch, or snuggling up to flip through pictures from throughout your relationship? Whatever you have planned today, we hope it’s wonderful!

This weekend marks the end of the so-called “engagement season”–the time between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day when proposals are the most common. If you’re recently engaged and starting to think about your engagement pictures, be sure to check out our Facebook Friday albums! Today, we’re sharing a sweet session by Chris Cornwell–see it here.

Last week on Southern Living, we shared a little about a new Southern tradition that’s quickly become one of our favorite wedding day moments: the bride’s first look with her dad. See it here.

This week’s features were full of love…and some fritos. Only in the South, y’all!

We shared the pictures from our fun February newsletter shoot: a Southern valentine writing party!

We tried to ignore our growling stomachs in the latest Southern Delicacy post.

We shared our best tips for tented weddings, with the help of our friends from Sperry Tents.

We were inspired by a dreamy, pastel anniversary shoot.

We celebrated some of our newly engaged readers!

The prettiest red and pink weddings appeared on the blog this week, and we loved them all!

We fell in love with Emily and Joe‘s fabulous style and beautiful display of family wedding photos.

Catherine and Kyle were married at a venue that is both incredibly stunning and deeply meaningful to Catherine’s family.

Haley and Dylan‘s fun personalities came through so perfectly at their bold red and gold wedding.

Kelly and Marvin‘s lovely Virginia backyard wedding was such a welcome escape from this week’s snowy weather!

Finally, a note for our vendor friends headed to WPPI: We want to make sure you know about the Silver Rush party! Our friends at Indie Film Lab and Richard Film Lab are putting it on, and since bow ties are involved, we think it will be a pretty good time. For tickets, go to SilverRushParty.com, and be sure to follow @SilverRushParty on Twitter for updates!

Have a happy Valentine’s Day and a great weekend!

2 – Create Theme-related ActivitiesThinking of ideas for specific activities within the theme requires brainstorming. So get those ZZZs and see your acne improve. My Panasonic DVD player also has a dial and I find it useful to track frames without having to manually input a timestamp. Even with gas supplies to last however long, you think the controlling it are just going to hand it out to the masses to run their cars for cheap? It is a fact that the lives of baby boomers has been accompanied by changes in the evolution of American society after the war. Kansas, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Vermont and Hawaii require a minimum of 30 percent of a child’s time with one parent. It is advisable to join such a service which provides services on a trial basis and gives you a choice to join later.
