It may be less than a week into December, but from the mini Christmas tree in the office (lovingly decorated with past ornament swap goodies!), to Wednesday’s annual Gingerbread Barn Building Competition, we’ve wasted no time getting into the Christmas spirit here at the SW office! It has been a particularly exciting week on the blog as well, so let’s take a quick look back.
First, we unveiled the brand new SouthernWeddings.com late last night! We are tickled pink with our new digs and hope you’ll spend the weekend checking them out. Post here explaining some of the changes.
Then, as if that wasn’t enough excitement, we were finally able to spill the news about our exciting partnership with Southern Living!! You can read all of the details right here.
We have a full recap of the launch party coming up soon, but in the meantime, I shared my personal highlight: when the love of my life asked me to marry him!! I was tickled pink to share the story (as well as some sneaky behind-the-scenes details from Emily) here. As you can see below, we are pretty excited. :)
Always a highlight of December, our 12 Days of Southern Weddings Christmas giveaways started this week! We have lots more goodies up our sleeves to share over the next two weeks, but be sure to take a look at the giveaways posted so far below!
Day 1: Dixieland Monogram
Day 2: Z Create Design
Day 3: Oatmeal Lace
Day 4: One Love Organics
We love Real Weddings!
Despite a severe storm the day before, Courtney and Cameron’s wedding turned out so beautifully, thanks to a true team effort by their family, friends, and vendors! See it here.
A few more things to note!
All Southern Weddings Shop orders must be placed by midnight on December 17 for Christmas delivery! All orders placed after then will ship on January 6.
Happy Facebook Friday! We have an engagement session by Amy Rae Photography on our Facebook today, so stop by and take a look.
Have a wonderful weekend!
