Southern Weddings Weekly Round-Up

by in Main on

The Southern Weddings office is officially in merry-making mode. (Aren’t we always?) Our Christmas lights are up, our office is home to a little tree, we’ve made many gingerbread barns and we’re ready to send out our ornaments for the Ornament Swap! The only thing we’re missing is snow. Though the recent warm-weather days have us thinking it’s October instead of December, our Twelve Days of Christmas giveaways have us in quite the holiday spirit.

We’re counting down the days until Santa and his reindeer arrive with giveaways. They’re open until Christmas Day, so be sure to enter them all.

Day 1: Perch Paper Company
Day 2: Monogram Works
Day 3: 1 Canoe 2
Day 4: Design Darling
There are many more to come, so keep your eye on the blog!

Our “Definition of a Southern Gentleman” feature from V5 is near and dear to our hearts. We think this shoot is full of the charming and masculine details that remind us of our gents.

We said hello to our newest Blue Ribbon Vendors this week! We’re thrilled to have so many talented members in our listings.

Amidst a bit of bewilderment, we introduced our V5 Collector Edition! Keep an eye out for these (hopefully) rare copies and let us know if you see one.

We’re spreading the holiday joy! Be sure to order V5 in time for Christmas delivery. We think it makes for the perfect stocking stuffer. Want to wrap it up pretty, too? I’ve whipped up some free printable gift tags with Southern charm.

Real Weddings take the cake!

Caroline + John’s classic rose garden wedding was romantic and reminiscent of another family member’s “I do’s.” See it here.

Good news for the weekend!

Searching for the Southern details to make your wedding come alive? Take a look through the Southern Weddings General Store! It’s full of products we love from vendors we love.

We’re just full of the giving spirit! A giant congratulations goes to Abby who won the fab Emily Ley Simplified Wedding Planner! There were so many entries and we’re thrilled that Abby gets to put this to good use.

Hooray for our Yellow Rose of Texas giveaway winners! Elizabeth won the Yellow Rose Tablecloth, Kelly E. won the boy’s bow tie from The Happy Couple, Lorraine won the white suspenders, Samantha won the ring bearer pillow and Taylor won the canary pocket square!

Our Blue Ribbon Bounty giveaway led to a bounty of entries! Congrats to Christy Ann and Taylor who won rings from Mary John, Laura F. and Jillian W., who won the Alexis K Jewels bracelets, Liz, who won the engraved server set from Jagged Edge Designs, Ashleigh, who won the mini cake stand trio from Aedriel Originals, and to Marisa and Audrey who won bracelets from Georgie Jewelry.

If you’re a winner, be on the lookout for an email from us!

Happy wedding weekend to all you belles and beaus ready to walk down the aisle, including our Southern Bride Blogger, Kate. Big hugs to everyone who said “I do” last week, including our Southern Bride Bloggers Briana and Melissa!

Have a happy weekend, y’all!
