Weekly Round-Up

by in Main on

It’s Friday again, y’all! Can you believe how fast time flies? Right now, we’re serving up some sweet tea at our yard sale. If you’re in the Chapel Hill area, stop by later for some fun with the SW ladies! In the meantime, take a look back at what we gathered up this week.

We love some bling on top of a gorgeous wedding gown, whether it’s made from the lace of your mother’s wedding dress or brand spankin’ new. Whitney brings us the perfect giveaway this week with Desires by Mikolay. Their Bling! collection will have you looking dazzling on your wedding day. Head to the original post for a chance to win something from the collection!

Marissa took some Southern Style inspiration from one of her favorite Southern movies ever, Steel Magnolias! (She’s even planning a movie night for the few of us who haven’t seen it! It’s a Southern faux pas that must be fixed.) “Blush and bashful” colors were the star of this style post, where she covered our favorite pink things from bouquets to cupcakes. Stick this movie in your DVD player and head to the original post to see what we found!

The SW ladies spent last weekend working up a sweat at our V4 photo shoot with Joey + Jessica Seawell. We couldn’t wait to give you a little behind-the-scenes preview! To tide you over until September rolls around, head to the post.

Sierra took us back to Christine + Iaan’s pink and blue wedding in this week’s featured Real Weddings Gallery.

We can’t get enough Real Weddings

Katie + Clark showed us the perfect beach-meets-glam look with their Florida wedding. See their seaside vows and pink details here and here.

Yeri + Adam’s wedding was a DIY delight! Their punchy coral and turquoise color palette brightened up our day. See it here and here.

I hope your weekend is as laid back and Southern as can be!
