8 Days Till V3 Arrives!

by in News on

Katharine is most excited about Katie Brown’s marriage advice column. It focuses on newlyweds, so how could she not?!  Oh yes, and it’s quite funny.  And touching.  (PSSST! Check out three teasers from Katharine’s wedding on A Bryan Photo’s blog here!  GORGEOUS!)

How about you?  Pre-order your copy here!  And get on it, because all pre-orders are shipping out Friday and you want your copy to be on that truck!!

Aaaaand if you’re an advertiser, be sure to check out Friday’s post and then email Katharine for a media kit!

Can we all just agree that Leigh’s wedding up-do is simply stunning?  Stunning!  Now that that’s settled, we can focus on the awesome details from Leigh + Jeff’s celebration at the Biltmore Estate.  Joey + Jessica Seawell photographed the lovely couple, and Melissa Porter of the Asheville Event Company planned the traditional North Carolina wedding.  The bride wore a dramatic Carolina Herrera gown (with a to-die-for train!), and her maids wore a mix of hydrangea-blue frocks from J. Crew.  Of course, there’s an equally amazing reception waiting for you this afternoon!

How did the two of you meet?  Tell us your story.  A mutual friend suggested we meet.  We were living in Washington, but were both originally from North Carolina.
Describe your wedding cake: We had a hazelnut cake with vanilla pastry cream, and a white cake with buttercream and raspberry preserve filling.  We had topiary leaves made from sugar paste, decorated the cake with hydrangea accents.  The pastry chef at the Biltmore was amazing!

There’s just something about Erik’s photographs that seems to match Tara + Jeremy.  The images are warm, rich, colorful, and somehow have a heightened sense about them.  From Erik’s blog post, that seems to be the same way people feel about today’s couple.  To read the whole story behind the special day, check out the Poser blogHappy Friday!

P.S. LOVE the succulents at each place setting and the rough wooden boxes incorporated into the table decor.  Ashley Kirk of Ashilirium did a fabulous job, didn’t she?

Once again, here are the VIP vendors.  Thanks so much for sharing your work with us!
