My wedding date is 9/11/10 and I think I deserve the favor boxes because I adore chocolate, even though I’m allergic to it (though not too badly). All my friends and family make fun of me for eating chocolate, since it usually gives me a sore throat the next day, and I lose my voice if I have too much. But I eat it anyway and it wouldn’t be a party without me having some chocolate!

I am getting married June 12, 2010 and I deserve to win the chocolates because:1) I am ALMOST as big of a candy/chocolate addict as Katharine2) My full name is actually Katharine and is spelled the same way as Katharine-the-candy-lover’s, so it must be fate! and 3) I am blowing my budget on beautiful flowers and stationary and delicious food so favors are but an after-thought at the moment…And you can’t have a proper wedding without favors, can you??

My wedding date is October 16, 2010.I deserve the chocolate because I am using the exact flower combination in the picture above! Lime hydrangeas and white roses, only mine will be in galvanized steel buckets on top of plum table overlays! PLUS, did I mention I would smack someone for chocolate????

  4. avatar Laura reply

Well, not only do I loooooove chocolate, but I am so in love with it that I am using gourmet chocolates as one of my gifts to my bridesmaids! They are all getting big boxes of choclates and champagne… what a great combo and a gift you can really enjoy I think. I deserve these favors because they would be the perfect favor for my "Southern themed" reheasal dinner complete with country music, comfort food, sweet tea and plenty of beer. It would be another awsome way to thank our family and friends for their amazing support!

Mmm… I’m a bit of a chocolate snob and dark chocolate is my guilty pleasure! My wedding date is July 17, 2010, and if I won these, someone would have to keep me accountable to make sure I gave them away.

My sweetie and I are getting married on 9/11/10,If we don’t give our guests chocolate, it will be a sin.I’m from Atlanta and he’s from Seattle,So many will travel and we know gifts of chocolate will stop any battle.I’ve given up the South and now live in the NorthwestGood thing both these places love chocolate, that’s the best!If you give us these chocolates for free,We promise to read Southern weddings forever, and at our wedding, serve sweet tea!If this wasn’t enough, my name is Laura Belle and you don’t get much more southern than that :)

My wedding date to Jason is September 4th, 2010. I am pretty sure that I deserve to win these chocolates because when I was younger (okay 2-3 years ago) I professed that I would sell my first born child for a lifetime supply of chocolate. I think that may still be up in the air, depending upon a) how easy/difficult the pregnancy is and b) how amazing the chocolate is (who wants to go through a crazy tough pregnancy for a lifetime of waxy dollar store chocolates?). Thank you! The chocolates look A-mazing!!

I’m getting married 09.05.2010, and I think I should win these chocolates, because I love chocolate so much that I would probably eat them all myself. Or maybe that’s a reason why I shouldn’t win. Either way, I love chocolate.

  16. avatar Stefanie reply

My wedding date is August 6th! I’m not sure exactly if I DESERVE the chocolate, especially after getting (and eating) tons of Easter candy! Even though I am eating better, and working out for my wedding, I would definetly want the boxes of chocolate! I promise, if I win, that I will only eat one box(ok, probably 2!), and give the rest out at my bridal shower!! Thanks! Great Giveaway!

My wedding date is June 12, 2010. I deserve to win because I am the biggest chocoholic ever, I will put it in on anything and after perusing Delysia’s website, their plethora of incredible-sounding flavors made anxious to try them all and there is something for EVERYONE (merlot, scotch, cigar, blueberry, jalepeno…wow!!). These would make a great addition to my welcome bags for out-of-town guests…if I could refrain from eating them all myself :)

  28. avatar Andrea S. reply

My fiancee and I are getting married on 6/19/2010. I desperately DESIRE these chocolate favors because I have been in "wedding" bootcamp since…well, forever. I run four miles a day, come home and work out to the Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred (have you ever done this?! It’s RIDICULOUSLY difficult) all so that I can really WOW my fiancee on our wedding day! I think by then I will be in definite need of some chocolate bliss — and I don’t even mind sharing them with my guests! :)

Our wedding date is June 26th. I’d love these gorgeous favors, especially since I’ve been trying to come up with something sweet to include in our gifts to our bridal party! This would be just the right number, and very fitting :) I love chocolate and am even incorporating a huge chocolate fountain with dozens of things to dip as a dessert treat!

  32. avatar LeeLa reply

I’m getting married to my best friend on August 7 (4 months from today-woohoo). Adam and I are chocoholics, really border-line chocolate snobs. There are few things better in this world than an amazing piece of chocolate. We both were looking forward to choosing chocolate for our wedding cake, but then my mom reminded me that over 15 people coming to our wedding are allergic to chocolate. We thought it would not be appropriate to knowingly choose a cake that many of our guest could not enjoy with us. Winning these favors would give us (and some of our non-allergic guests) a little taste of amazing chocolate on our big day.

  33. avatar Jessica reply

Our wedding date is September 4, 2011 and I think the love of my life really deserves these chocolates! He’s a HUGE chocolate addict and I’d love to give him and our guests some awesome treats!

  34. avatar Jessica Odom reply

My Wedding Date is October 2, 2010I deserve the chocolate because both my Fiance and I are candy addicts. We both work out of the house and after 1 month of moving in, I decided to surprise him with a Candy Bar in his office. It is a long shelf with mason jars full of his/my favorites…half of which are of the chocolate variety. He still shows it off to all of his friends and thinks its the best gift he’s ever gotten!! I’m quite proud of it too :) So basically, Candy is the best gift we can get!!

  35. avatar bri reply

I love chocolate and my smart fiance realizes that it is a very important element in our relationship – keep the chocolate supplied and everything will be okay. But I’ve been living on the other side of the world in the tropics for three years so I’ve been reduced to breaking apart big glops of chocolate that have melted together. Some nice, fancy chocolate would be a special touch for our special day on August 14, 2010!"All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn’t hurt!"-Lucy Van Pelt in Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz

  36. avatar Lauren reply

My wedding date is October 2, 2010. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win these chocolates, because my husband-to-be hates chocolate and, trying to be a sweet bride, I have agreed to let him have a cake made of Krystals (yes, the fast-food hamburger kind of Krystals) in lieu of a chocolate grooms cake. Please help me give my guests some chocolate!

  37. avatar Sheena reply

Getting married June 19, 2010 – would love these to incorporate in our candy/sweets buffet at the reception! Literally a sweet treat! Not to mention, the future hubby has a sweet tooth like no other!

My wedding date is 10-10-10 and I would love to be able to use these yummy chocolates as favors at our rehearsal dinner … we are basically paying for the dinner ourselves, so it would be really nice to win some chocolates to treat our guests AND to enjoy a piece ourselves :)

Our wedding date is 8.7.10. The thing I remember most from the very first wedding I attended were the favors. Ice Cream Scoopers with engraved hearts and a Lindt truffle in the scoop. Since then, and in planning my own wedding now, I have always wanted to have memorable favors as well. These chocolates would rank among the top favors in people’s minds, I’m sure, and I would love to give a young girl something to remember my wedding by that could in turn inspire hers one day.

  41. avatar Chelsey reply

When I saw this contest, I freaked! You won’t find another chocoholic like me, that’s for sure! My passion for the cocoa bean started with my mom (I definitely got the "chocoholic" gene from her) and has grown exponentially over my 23 years! I happen to love chocolate so much, that I even wrote my college entrance essay on the benefits of chocolate (no joke.) My wonderful fiance, god bless him, has learned the power of chocolate as he has supplied it for me over our 8-year relationship. For our June 5, 2010 wedding, I would love to give back to him and our bridal party a little piece of what they have all given me…endorphins of course!!

  42. avatar Carrie reply

My wedding is on December 18, 2010. As part of our theme at the reception, we’re having a Christmas tree for guests to place wedding gifts under and then we are using boxes tied with a bows for the favors as part of the table designs. These chocolates would make a great treat for our guests and would fit nicely with our decor!

  43. avatar Sarah reply

I would never be so forward as to say I "deserve" these fabulous favors any more than other brides out there, but as a Savannah bride the praline truffles would be a perfect fit. And the inspiring words printed on the chocolates make my graphic design heart flutter! How romantic would these be as a favor to our 25 guests on September 25?

  44. avatar Lauren reply

I LOVE chocolate! I eat it nearly every day. My friends threw me a dessert-themed wedding shower because they know how much I love chocolate :) I would love to share these beautiful chocolates with our guests!

  47. avatar Karen reply

Our wedding date is 8/8/2010. I think these would make for a delicious gift for each of our bridal party members. We’re avid bakers in our house and we’re planning on making the sweets for our dessert table. This would take a load off and would be a deliciously awesome part of our thank you gifts.

  48. avatar Jenell reply

Hello, I’m gettting married on August 6th. I’ve been searching the internet for cute edible favors. I think this would be the perfect gift to give my guest. We deserve to win this giveaway because we are working on a very limited budget and this would cut down some of our expenses.

  49. avatar Lauren reply

My fiance and I are getting married 9/25/2010. Is loving chocolate a good enough reason? It’s the reason I ate a cookie for breakfast this morning!

  50. avatar Liz reply

Our wedding date is July 11, 2011. And we deserve to win because we’re both a little tiny bit snobbish about chocolate. Our favorite so far is Neuhaus, and I’ve paid extravagant shipping costs to get it delivered from Brussels, but we’ve never tried Delysia, and so I think it’s about time!

  51. avatar June reply

Having worked in a gourmet chocolate shop, I think it would be a great addition to my wedding! Our date is November 21, 2010, and I think I would be a great recipient bc I truly know HOW to appreciate chocolate. Did you know you’re never supposed to chew it!? Press it between the back of your tongue and the roof of your mouth and let it melt. Enjoy!

  52. avatar Sarah reply

I am getting married and would love the chocolates! My grandmother and sister are huge choco-holic and I know it would be perfect to have something to give to the guests that shares the story of my families near obsession with chocolate! What a sweet treat our guests would enjoy in our Southern Soiree themed wedding!

  53. avatar Olivia reply

I worked as a pastry chef for about four years, and one of my favorite asides was making chocolates, especially those with beautiful flavor infusions (think lavender, or honey cream). Sadly, I won’t have time before the wedding to make any concoctions because of my finals schedule (I’m a graduate student). These treats would be an incredible gift for my wedding party, five of whom are my sisters (who would be beyond thrilled with such a treat). Our wedding is June 5, 2010.

I found this post while I was munching on imported chocolate! Milka, from Germany, is my favorite chocolate and Amazon had a sale on chocolate the other night! I love European chocolate. It is so smooth and silky. It is vastly superior to American chocolate, and that is why I am entering this contest. We’re having a very small wedding, so I’d love to be able to share these favors with those who are nearest and dearest to us. Best of luck to everyone!

  58. avatar Jenna reply

My wedding date is June 26, 2010 and I think I deserve these chocolates because I gave up sweets for Lent, and I’ve been deprived of all things chocolate for 40 days! I need to make up for lost time =)

Hello. I think I should say that I am not the bride, nor the groom, but rather the sister. By the way, the wedding is on August 28, 2010. SOOO excited for them! While I wish I could say that these two love birds don’t need the favors for their wedding, I can’t…cause they can’t afford it. They’re young and in love, have been for five years and counting, and I think they deserve the best. They have settled for so much already, done so many DIY projects, and still they lack enough money to give thanks to their guests, the few that they were able to fit in. So, I would really love for them to have these AMAZING chocolates for their wedding, something that will make them happier. We’re big on sweets, along with cheese, and it is both the bride and groom’s favorite treat. Also, the colors are spectacular and it wouldn’t hurt, at all, to have such a beautiful favor to decorate the tables a little more. So I hope they win it!!!Thanks for the opportunity to win these!~Andy

I deserve the chocolates because the stress of planning a wedding(August 14, 2010), chasing my overactive two year old, working and trying to make time with my fiance is rapidly becoming overwhelming and my brain is telling me that chocolate is the only thing that will make the next few months bearable.

I’m getting married July 3, 2010. I’m not that I can claim to deserve these chocolates (though the pictures are making me seriously crave some). Instead, I would give the chocolates to my my mother, my father, my brother, my grandparents, my aunts and uncles, and best friends in the wedding party. They are the super stars who are helping to make July 3 a very special day for us. Thanks for hosting this giveaway.

Our wedding is May 30, 2010. I deserve this delectable treat because I went to Paris last year and spent a small fortune on Parisian chocolates from a famous shop. Then the air-conditioning in our hotel room broke down and…yes…all of my treasured truffles melted into a giant mess. I almost cried when I saw them, and haven’t been able to buy any since then because I feel so guilty for spending the money on chocolate that was never enjoyed!REDEEM ME PLEASE! :)

My wedding date is July 24, 2010. I deserve the chocolate because I have a huge sweet tooth! So instead of ice cream, cake, and cookies laying around that I will eat it all in one sitting…I keep chocolate around and allow myself one piece of chocolate to calm my craving…..this would be 3 weeks worth!

  72. avatar Kate reply

My wedding date is 10/9/10, and I think I deserve these chocolates to give out to the wonderful ladies in my life that have helped me pull together a budget conscious, home grown wedding.
