Meaning… half of the copies are out right now and half the copies shipped out yesterday, so we should have full newsstand circulation in just a few short days. Why? Because we’re picky. Here’s the scoop…
Most magazines wouldn’t tell you all of this dish, but we will : ) We got four boxes of magazines last Thursday— the first four boxes hot off the press for the launch party. We tore open the boxes and the first thing I noticed was one page with an ink splotch on it. Maybe half the world wouldn’t notice, but I sure did. So, in a panic I called the printer and had them inspect every single copy. Needless to say, this took several days. Besides our four boxes, luckily they found only a couple other “ink splotched” boxes. We’ll call those our Jackson Pollock originals. So, half the copies shipped out last week after inspection and the other half shipped out yesterday. Woohoo!
I’m as anxious as you are to see this thing on newstands, so keep us posted as to where you find it, friends! Check this post for store listings and we’ll start a page for specific store locations as we get them.
Don’t want to wait? You can pre-order your copy here. We get our big shipment tomorrow, so copies should arrive on doorsteps as early as Wednesday (<– UPDATED: the truck got here too late on Friday for us to get all 500+ pre-orders out for arrival by Monday. We’ll send the rest first thing Monday morning for delivery as early as Wednesday!)

In the drowning rains of leftover Hurricane Ida, we tried to purchase the magazine and submit our photo for the contest….too bad Barnes & Noble did not have it!! We’re soaking wet and wished we had a copy to check out :(

I would love to enter the MEGA photo contest, but I can’t find a magazine anywhere! I’ve looked in 3 Targets, a Barnes & Noble, and Wal-Mart, all in the Nashville/Middle TN area. I will be happy to order the magazine directly from you, but the info said that it may not ship until Nov. 20th, which I’m afraid won’t be enough time before the deadline! Help?

I have my photo ready to submit…but the link to email Katharine keeps trying to open Outlook, and I don’t use outlook. I’ve tried to set it up, but it just isn’t working! Is there an email I can send it to from my hotmail?
