Southern Weddings

Welcome back to another spectacular Wanwisa Wednesday! Be sure to check out her previous posts I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI, XII, XIII, XIV, XV, XVI, XVII, XVII, XIX, XX, XXI, XXII, XXIII, XXIV, XXV, XXVI, XXVII, XXVIII, XXIX, XXX, XXXI, XXXII, XXXIII, XXXIV, XXXV, XXXVI and XXXVII for more fabulous wedding inspiration!

After a little R&R – a fabulous holiday with the Hubs (which I would love to share in an upcoming post about honeymoon destinations so stay tuned!), I’m ready to see everything in a different light sort of speak. Today’s inspirations celebrate fabulous ideas that are tried and true but with a little spin. Have a peak!

Though we all love cupcakes for there sweet and casual appeal – why not try feeding guests sweet treats that are also a feast for their eyes with Couture Cupcakes? Check out these and other inspirations on Martha Stewart Weddings!

One very chic way to personalize your event is to “brand” your big day with stylish monograms on everything from tags attached to favors to postage stamps. Try something a little unexpected like stamped-cookies, candle wrappers, big letters hung on the doors or entry way leading to your ceremony space or arrange some treats to spell out your initial! Check these out and more at Martha Stewart Weddings!

There are dozens of unique favor packaging ideas out there – from mini-gable boxes to cone-shaped containers. Why not go with tried-and-true square boxes with a ribbon update? Add a dash of old-world charm with a wax seal to secure a thin ribbon or silk string, add a message with beads on the ends of delicate strings, use yarn instead of grosgrain, silk or organza ribbons to tie-up your favor boxes, or give that classic ribbon a little twist (you’ll need double-sided ribbons for this look). Check these ideas out and more at Martha Stewart Weddings!

So go ahead and give classic wedding design elements that extra kick and let your imagination run wild.

Until next Wednesday, Xoxo, Wanwisa
