Get ready for another inspiring color palette this week from Gia of {betsywhite}. We love this fresh spring palette she put together! To see more of Gia’s pretty palettes check out last weeks post.
From Gia: This week’s palette is perfect for a spring wedding. Aqua and Leaf really embody the freshness of spring while touches of gold add a bit of elegance. This combination would work equally well with modern or traditional wedding styles.
The bride and bridesmaids: A lovely, simple white gown would be a wonderful backdrop to a bouquet bursting with fluffy white spring blooms and lots of greenery. The bouquet could be tied with Aqua ribbon to incorporate the colors of the palette. The bridesmaids could wear blue and green dresses – J. Crew offers lovely options.
The groom and groomsmen: I think charcoal grey suits would be best for the men. Black would be a little too dark, tan or khaki a little too light. Colors from the palette could be incorporated into their boutonneires and/or ties.
Accents and Details: Using gold throughout has the potential to look gaudy but if used sparingly, gold accents on the cake, centerpieces and bridal party’s jewelry would really add an elegant touch.
