This beautiful blue reception took place at the {Monterey Plaza Hotel and Spa}. This grand wedding was planned by {An Elegant Beginning} with decor by {E & G Plantinum Designs}. Describe your wedding flowers: Simplicity with bling! White orchids, white calla lilies, silver sprayed manzanita branches, hanging crystals and hanging candles. Our florist used tall European glass vases filled with blue dyed water, colored gel balls and lights. He utilized beautiful orchids and calla lilies with silver sprayed manzanita branches. On the branches, hung tea light candles – lighting up the entire centerpiece. On the table, surrounding the glass vase were more tea light candles that light up the tables.
Describe your wedding cake: Yummy! I love coffee, so we did a combination of tiramisu and hazel nut flavored tiers.
Three adjectives that describe the day are: Bling! Platinum! Contemporary!
Wedding Website: We created a wedding website with WedShare.com. This was so helpful and informative for our guests. We included all of the information for our special day and of course tons of photos. I would suggest a wedding website for all planning couples. Visit our {site}.
The budget: Originally our budget was $50,000, but after purchasing (rather than renting) everything we wanted, our grand total came out to $80,000. Ouch! But, we now own everything that made our wedding spectacular. We now offer these items to our planning couples for their special day.
What advice would you give to someone planning their wedding? The same advice that we give to every couple that walks through our office. Other than be sure to book the best wedding vendors (like us – haha). Enjoy and savor every minute of your wedding day…..it goes by so fast!
What’s next for you as a couple? What are you looking forward to in the future? For years we have helped couples plan out their special day without ever experiencing how it feels to be a bride and groom – not really understanding the emotional roller coaster couples ride on the way. Now that we have experienced what it feels like to plan the most important day of our life and see it all come together on the wedding day – we can even more effectively help our couples along the way! We are also expanding our companies to offer our couples more services for their special day. We want to be their one stop shop for all of their Platinum Wedding needs!
