I’m working!
The fiance and I are spending a quiet evening at home while I cook black eyed peas (for good luck in new year) and collard greens (for money in new year).
My boyfriend and I are headed out to the local art museum where there will be a dinner, followed by a showing of an exhibit on Eastern Art. At the end of the night, a DJ will spin and we’ll all dance our way into 2009.
Hi! Love ~ love your blog! Thanks for sharing all of these gorgeous pictures. :)I’m flying to New Orleans, little black dress in tow, for a fancy dinner and New Years Eve festivities in the quarter tomorrow night… can’t wait!
I’ll be in the big NYC celebrating a friend’s birthday {and NOT in Time’s Square!}. Some new tunes would keep me busy on the train ride…
We’re going to keep it simple after our whirlwind Christmas. We’re getting together to play board games and toast the New Year with a couple of our very best friends.
My plans are to bake cookies with my fiance and then play video games all night.
Im traveling to memphis for my alumni’s bowl game— all my friends and are I embarking on a ten-hour road trip…!
My fiancee and I are heading to Charlotte, NC, to visit two dear friends. We are looking forward to a few days of rest and relaxation!
Nothing fancy…just keeping it low key and going to a house party. I have to work late on New Year’s Eve!
Since the fiance and I both have work all day, we’re thinking about ordering in and toasting the night away!
In college my best friends and I all "rang in the new day" for an entire semester, which simply meant that we counted down every "new day" and celebrated our highs and lows from the day before. Although we currently live in different states we’re all reuniting to ring in the New Year!
I get to spend it with my fiance! He lives in Dallas and I live near San Francisco. So New Years has become one of OUR holidays that we get to spend together. Our wedding is in July, so it’s our last set of holidays apart! :)
It’s my fiance’s birthday! What a wonderful way to celebrate the man I am going to marry and New Years too. I am taking him to dinner at Old Bookbinders Grill in Richmond and I bought a sassy red dress to surprise him. Happy New Years to all!
I’m just spending time with my family, something low key and relaxed. It’ll be a much different experience from last year when I spent the new year on a plane… asleep.
I will be spending NYE with friends + my husband at New Years On the Grand in Grand Rapids, Michigan. There will be bands, food, drinks + fun! I cannot wait.
I will be bringing in the New Year talking to my future husband who is in the Middle East right now.
We’re headed out to dinner and dancing at the dance studio where we took our wedding dance lessons from. This is our first new year’s together as a married couple so we’re looking forward to it!!
I plan on working, due to the fact that one of my managers hates me. Then when 9:30 rolls around I’ll get off, go into the bathroom and put on my party clothes. I’ll then leave hopefully to have my manager who will be staying later see, and hate me even more.
As soon as we get off work we’ll be driving three hours so we can spend the night having drinks and playing wii and board games with our best friends!
I think my bf and I will be hanging out in the band’s "garage" and having a dance party. Either that or staying in and taking it easy as we’re flying to Baton Rouge for a big weekend the next day!
My fiance and I are going out to a girl friend’s historic Mill house with 8 other couples…sipping champagne and shucking oysters! Can’t wait!
My fiance and I spending New Year’s with my pregnant Matron of Honor (the baby is my in utero junior bridesmaid) and her husband!
i will be shooting at a new year’s party here in La Jolla California. it is going to be awesome! can’t wait for 2009. Happy New Year everyone!
Downtown for an overly expensive dinner (only because it was the request of the NYE birthday boy who we’ll be joining) then back to the new favorite neighborhood watering hole for their insanely affordable NYE promo :-) Plus, it is within walking distance of two of our friends’ townhouse if a cab is nowhere to be found at the end of the night! (We’ve got to party smart to start 2009 off right!)
The best friends and I, along with our guys are having a giant house party to ring in the new year with style & tons of fun!
