This wedding was seamless and complete with the most stunning wedding couple! The hanging floral arrangements paired with the Asian inspired lanterns gives a glamorous feel to this backyard gala. Blair and Roth and all that attended will have memories that will last a lifetime.
The site shows the best boutonniere that I have even seen. Orchids were used so creatively on the tables and tent ceiling. I wish I could view more of the bridesmaids dresses and the magnificent flowers. Blair was elegant in the her wedding dress as well a her reception dress. These photos are really beautiful and I’d love to see more of the details of the wedding. It looked simple, elegant and not "done" like so many weddings we see constantly featured in magazines. We’re all looking for a more natural look – something that looks effortless rather than contrived. This wedding looked scrumptious!
It’s unusual that a southern wedding shows the local color and beauty of the carolina low country while also modernizing the overall aesthetic concept with asian-inspired details. Really, such seemingly incongruous styles appear based not in superficial "trendy" tastes but in an intuitive appreciation for real, natural beauty. The elegant ichabana-style orchid arrangements and ethereal floral bouqets suspended above suit the semi-tropical beach setting as well as the pristine freshness of a spring wedding. The chinese lanterns hanging above no doubt created a beautiful choreography in the breeze off the water, as if they were intended as elegant abstract references to the clouds billowing over the ocean. Indeed, the white tents in the breeze must have evoked the sensation of being at an exclusive cocktail party on an enormous yacht. I’m beginning to convince myself that the wedding was an exceptional piece of installation art, except more beautiful. Not to mention the good-looking people in the wedding! How I wish I could have been invited to that one!
