Things you’d write home to your Momma about: Untamed Heart Photography was named one of the “100 Photographers to Watch” in 2015 by Clicking Moms Magazine. My work has also been published in a book by Design Aglow and featured in Mozi Mag.
Location/Coverage: The hills of Tennessee to the shores of the East Coast.
How I got into weddings: I started as a family photographer in 2007, when a friend from Colorado asked me to second shoot for him. I soon fell in love with weddings and the glow and energy that surrounds them.
Favorite thing about weddings in the South? The rolling hills and majestic trees…and of course, the kind hearts of all the wonderful people I meet.
Favorite part of a wedding day? When the bride and groom walk up the aisle hand in hand as a freshly married couple. There is so much joy in that moment from everyone. It just blesses my heart to witness it every time!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms? Plan your day and then hand over the reins to someone else. Enjoy every moment of your wedding day, because in a flash, it is over.
Dream travel destination? Nashville, y’all…Charleston is a very close second.
Favorite Southern city? Nashville. It has a very special place in my heart.
Early bird or night owl? Can I say neither? LOL
Favorite pie flavor? Pecan…is there anything better?
Favorite biscuit topping? Sour cherry preserves and butter. YUM!
