Molly Gee is just a good ol’ Southern gal! We love her entrepreneurial spirit and think her appreciation for family and history are palpable in her chic and sweet designs.

Like an old family recipe, Molly Gee’s creations are handmade with a dash of whimsy and a heaping load of passion. Our bridal and special occasion accessories include, but are not limited to: bridal birdcage, blusher, and traditional veils, brooches, dress sashes, headbands, feather, floral, and beaded hair combs and fascinators, as well as simplified pieces for bridesmaids. For the groom and his men, we offer silk bow ties, traditional ties, skinny ties, and pocket squares! Molly Gee bridal veils and accessories cater to the unique and modern bride, though many accessories also exhibit nostalgic vintage accents and whimsical detailing. All of our accessories and veils are made with fine silks, feathers, laces, rhinestones, and glass pearls. Attention to detail and an interest in fine craftsmanship go into every piece; and yes, made in Mississippi, y’all!

Name: Molly Gee Waggener
Where you call home: Madison, MS
Things you’d write home to your Momma about: My mom lives 5 minutes away so we talk every day! When I’m not updating her on the latest with my business or wedding planning progress, we are usually talking about our dogs (I have a Cockapoo named Fern, and she has 2 Westies and a Jack Russell) or my two precious nieces. Family is so important and we are all in constant contact!
Best piece of advice you can give to brides and grooms: We all want our day to be perfect and it’s understandable to focus on making that happen! Even through all of the planning and decisions, remember it is only one day of your life. If the wedding doesn’t flow exactly as you planned, you are still marrying the one person you care the most about!
Favorite Southern city: I live just outside of Jackson, MS and we love it here! Although, we LOVE visiting Nashville every chance we get. There are so many great areas and friends to catch up with. The entertainment inside the city is endless and the drive to and from is beautiful!
Early bird or night owl: Funny how this changes as you get older! I work from home so my morning routine is to shut my bedroom door, open all the blinds, and start my day with a good breakfast and coffee. I then get to work in my studio making a goal to finish a certain amount of projects for the day. Of course during the busy season, I must learn to be an early bird AND night owl! When you love what you do, you really don’t mind working the long hours.
Pie bar or red velvet cake: Oooh tough call! I am planning my own wedding this year and trying to narrow the food items. I am so torn between items such as a mashed potato bar or grits station. What’s a girl to choose!? If we had the budget, I’d choose them all.
Pottery Barn or Anthropologie: Forever and always- Anthropologie. I will always keep a special place in my heart for the refurbished, rustic, and DIY aspect of furniture and clothing.
Succulents or peonies: If I really had to choose, the girliest part of me would say peonies but my absolute favorite is dahlias. My wedding bouquet will be only café ole dahlias!!! One day I hope to have my mama’s green thumb but for now, I keep succulents in the house because they are very hard to kill!
